Hello to ALL from Japan:

Post by JMRE »

Sorry I could not post this earlier, as I am newbie here.
(The picture is my RD in present condition. I do plan to purchase CDI kit soon)
I've owned my RD since I was 16, and I have leaned many things, including complete engine rebuild and carb set-ups from this bike.
I find it very exciting to see many people in India loves RD so much. And I really thank Ron for developing cool things for these bikes.
I live in Saitama, Japan, about 1 hour from Tokyo.

Well, at the time I did not have any filters so there was some rugs on the carbs. They are TM30SS off of DT200WR dirt bike. It's flat slides, and have power jets too so some extra kicks at high rpms..

Anyway, what part do you need man? I may be able to go to junk yard on weekends. (I hope you don't need some odd old car part...)

Hello! Coils are actually Bosch units for cars. I saw some US guys do this trick. Original coils were tired anyway, so I can not measure exact improvement this makes.
(I'd love to feel the difference RDD CDI makes..)
