Dude your just getting into Kfuns and Geni mods.
I need to buy one. Can you recomend something on Fasttech casue its too confusing if I search for Kfun I get 2 pages.
Can only afford to get one tank.
Id like to be able to wind 2 coils. And use sub ohm on the segeli. And I need to be able to change out wicks really fast when testing various DIY flavors.
Questions for Andy
Re: Questions for Andy
"Frequently Changing Coils/Wicks" + RBA = Not a good combination at all.
Take any popular RBA .. Fogger (V2/V3/V4), Kayfuns, Taifuns, etc .. None of them would allow you to change coils/wicks on the fly. In most cases, you will have to empty the tank and only then you can try a different eLiquid.
I'm into DIY stuff and the best are RDA so that you can try one juice, quickly clean the base, insert cotton and move to your other juice(s). Trust me, you should get an Omega RDA, the best for the job.
I'm not new to the RBAs, have been vaping on them since last six months and I really can't go back to clearomizers/cartomizers now. I have gone to the extent that I modified one of my Fogger V2. I have written a long tutorial on FT (about a month ago) showing how I modified my fogger to make it work like a RDA. But again, in order to change the wick/coil, I have to empty the tank and disassemble the whole thing. RBAs are simply not for the testing juices. They're more like fill them up and vape to the last drop or you will be wasting juice. Secondly, there are way too many parts to disassemble before you even see the firing chamber.
There are many nice RDA available as low as $5 and I recon you should buy a couple of them. If you wish, I can list names of the RDAs I recommend for testing DIY juices.

Re: Questions for Andy
I get what your saying. I also figured that for DIY sampling nothing beats a dripper.
But a dripper does not match the way I work. Which is add a drop of this. Then a drop of that etc. It makes it hard to keep a record. Where as with a glass tank. Like the TD3 or anything with markings. You can keep track i.e. .1 ML Pann added. Or .2 PG added. Im not a big fan of counting drops.
Right now Im rebuilding my pro tanks. Practice makes perfect. Just rinse. Pull the wick out. Dry burn coil. Insert new wick in. All done pretty fast. Less than a minute. To jump.
Huge consignment of Flavors and Nic. Landed. Should be with me in a day or two. This is for my own R&D. Got every flavor they sell From all the vendors i.e. Seedman, FA, Na, Loran etc. Even got some Tobacco Absolute which has not even been released on the market.
Pradeep has already done some research so yesterday just ordered what he has ordered. I think there is no right and wrong here. Just personal preferences.
What I was expecting from you was. Not so much which tank to get as we are getting one of each. But which brand i.e. In gensis there are 20 tanks. So which one is the best quality wise. i.e. well made. RBA's Genes and Dripers.
So far my policy is just get the costliest one after going thru the feedback on FT. Its just time consuming.

Re: Questions for Andy
This is what Ive ordered so far.
https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/100 ... izer-1-8ml
(Reason cheap). Easy to switch coils.
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1411/10005183/1505000
Costliest Clone Itika best score
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1411/10006473/1552300
Best SS Russian Clone.
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1411/10006709/1632903
Best Tiafun clone.
http://www.fasttech.com/products/1330500
Cheap and simple Gene.
For the Driper I think Ill just machine my own locally.
You are right about having to empty the tank to change. This is why I prefer the Mini Pro Tanks. With complete capacity at under 2ML. Your wastage is very low. i.e. under 1ML worst case.
Man testing is done on the Pro Tank 2 mini. With a custom coil large hole to insert and pull the wicks easy. And T3D here to two custom coils. With easy to pull wicks.
The coils Im using are made with the kanthal sold by e-sutta its really thick so takes a lot of abuse. Without deforming.

Re: Questions for Andy
@ron . with practice, it is taking much much shorter times to dry burn+rewick t2..
are you able to rewick using silica? If yes, tell me how its done..

Re: Questions for Andy
Yes I use a needle and sillica and then wrap around it. The trick on the t2 is not to use that absurdlly thick crap coil from esutta. That thing is pointless.
You need to use same gauge as what came in the T2.
People say I learn from the net. Then how come not one single guy has come up with this ball busting idea.
Use a thin bolt i.e. 1.5mm to wind your coils. Thanks to the pitch you get equal gapping between coils.
Millions of vapers been vaping since 2004. And nobody has thought of this idea lol.
I tell you Indian vapers will change the scene wait and watch. Like this I have dozens of new ideas. Some my own some from fellow indian's and friends.

Re: Questions for Andy
The bolt idea is one of those why didnt i think of that ideas. Makes a lotta sense.
As for the rba, the closest i can think of is the smoktech rsst.Cause the tank is a whole/complete section. But even that rba needs disassembling of coil to access tank. Though spring contact makes it easier to remove/disengage coil. Guess this proves that there's still room for lot of innovation and unexplored ideas and requirements in the vaping scene

Re: Questions for Andy
I have the perfect gauge coil for wrapping all the Kanger Tech Tanks from T2 to Protanks.
Im thinking of supplying a matching mandrel to help people wind the perfect coil. The mandrels are already given for machining.
Two types are being made one for RBA's and one for Kangers.
Lets see how soon before somebody copies the idea. And starts selling the same product lol.
