Uni Filters and RDD Jets

Post by shiva33 »

well, i recieved the filters and jets almost 3 weeks back.. somehow had no time to install it untill this morning..

the trottle response is spontanoeus... no stuttering and sluggishness like before..

u can immediately feel the difference, thanks to the unique exhasut note.
i am on stock pipes and with Chinoy Filter's .. they sound somethin like a (putter.. putter. purrrrrrrrrrrr), very racy.. i luv the new sound :)

first kick starts, no sign of stress after a long ride too..

overall, worth every penny and an absolute must for an RD..

thank you, RON

only problem is the the filters are so BIG they barely manage to fit in the space :D

And resist the temptation to CLEAN them at the first sign of dust.

Quite difficult to do but have been trying to avoid cuz i know i dont have any Chinoy Filter oil handy. They are freaking awesome, took em off the other day, covered with dust, not a spec inside. One thing i have learnt being on RDD, Ron's quality control and the attitude as a perfectionist rules, he makes u get the best or nothing.
There is no hope left when you start declutching an RD.

Bugger shiva u already posted. Actually i took the bike from shiva today morning. I have taken it office in the evening about 30kms. It was awesome the throttle response has definetly become better and aaah that sound.....

I can vouch for this as i was the previous owner of this bike and bikes response has definetly improved after installing the Unis.

I will. Looks like you need to get a set of good pilots as well. The bike responds very well at WOT but at 1/4th to 1/2 throttle it is sluggish compared to WOT. check with ron if he can spare a set of pilots
