in my introduction below will be telling of how two strokes became part of ma life...
I come from a middle class family, and ma father is a automobile engineer, i strongly feel the attachment to automobiles has come to me from ma dad..
How it all started : after finishing ma diploma, I was in need of a bike for ma daily commute....and the hunting started..
I am a speed loving guy..and 3digits @ the speed is wt the bikes mean to me..Search started and i made my mind to buy a apache 180..Informed ma dad about the same and told it wil cost something close to 1lakh..My dad was nt ready to pay so high for a bike and he was thinking it will be of no use when i leave the house for higher studies...So the argument started..... ](./images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif "Brick wall"){kind=small}
After some days..: I saw a bike at ma mechanics garage which was restosred and up for sale..It was a 88 model yamaha Rx 100...i took it for a spin..and was blown away seeing the way it ran...Minds changed...
if i have to own one..this one it must be..Informed ma dad..I will be taking a used bike for current use and it will be cheaper..and told the year and all and told him it would cost 35k..He was nt aware of the demand for the two strokes..he just rejected as the bike was more than 15years old and if the valuation is done its nt worth 10k..( he has depreciated and calculated in his way of seeing the automobiles)...
Again some days later ..saved some pocket money .and got some help from dad and took a Rx100 of 1993 ..and enjoying the joy of two strokes till now..My current ride is a Yamaha Rxz ..which i brought recently..and will be soon going for the rdd Cdi...
