You're running non-genuine Pulsar plug caps man. When you have the time, get proper 5 K caps from an authorized yamaha / hero honda / honda showroom (original libero, karizma, activa caps would probably be 5 k).
Get the carb cleaned by a REAL mech, or better still figure out how to do it yourself. It is not rocket science. Get your float heights right and dont use those el-cheapo 80-rupee petrol taps.
One recommendation regarding the kit Ron.... is it possible to have longer kidney-shaped mounting-holes in the base plate with 2 numbers written on either side of the hole, one mentioning the max advance and one mentioning the least? E.g. the numbers could be 19 and 25 or something like that. I dont think most people in Bombay would have access to PROPER methods for setting the timing so atleast having a minimum and maximum number to play with, would keep them safe. The range of adjustment that we had on the plate was a bit TOO conservative; we had to file out the mounting hole a bit so that we could get the advance we needed.
