How to deal with such customers.

Post by chinoy »

I get a friend request on FB.
Then I get a request. Give me your number I want to talk to you. Im a new vaper.

If I dont give the number they get upset.
If I give the number my complete day is gone on the phone and no work gets done.

I dedicate well over 2 hours to trying to help answer any questions people have on the various forums we run here and on face book.

People dont want to use the forum.
People dont want to ask questions in public.
People want to be spoon fed.

Not sure what to do . I could hire some morons / cheap labour and get them to man a few phone lines. But the quality of answers would be utter rubbish. This is the issue I have about growing too much.

Have a work number and keep it available only in a specific window of time. Other times it stays on silent and out of your sight.

But then people will expect their missed calls to be answered and if you dont answer your missed calls its considered rude.
and un-profesional.

Even funnier are the two stroke experts.

Typical Exmaple.
HI
Im a two stroke expert I want to talk to you.
I know a lot.

Me: Use the forum.
He: I can access the forum.
Me: Use face book.
He: Add me to the group right now.!
He: You have not added me !!

Man I give up.

Dealing with paying customers is no trouble its a privilege.

You know I enjoy interacting with people on my forums and even via email.

Its the pushy demanding kinds who demand an instant response at 1 am on face book that get my goat.
