Am Arun from Erode. Just recently joined RDD. Happy to meet u all fellow RD lovers.This Forum is great,amazing and useful for all new people. THANKS a lot RDD.. am a die-hard fan of Yamaha 2strokes.i own my first bike - RXZ (4 speed)1997.and still riding the same. After a long wait and long hunt finally I got my dream bike RD 350 from Bihar. Its 1984 HT and had been sleeping for 8 long years still now so doing my best to bring her back to life on road. Its hurting me a lot to see my beast sleeping hmm working on to bring the legend back to life with complete restoration.
please Any advice or suggession from any one regarding Spares or restoration Am very thankful.

If you're looking at a full scale restoration then there is a lot you need to read up and get to speed on. Start with the basics, ensure that your RD is atleast up to stock specs. There are workshop service manuals and enough information floating around here for you to start with that.
A good place to start is to ensure that your cylinders, head, crank, clutch and gearbox are at stock spec.

thank u 'prd' ...I just started with the electrical side...now the circuit is good...and its on points... will post more on d progress...
