Thank you RDD for the CDI.

I've always wanted the RD since I was 10 years old and rode on my Uncle's bike from the showroom. It was the only bike that sounded and felt like a motorcycle.
When i was old enough got my hands on my brother's RX. And that was the next best thing. Couldnt buy an RD because people then thought it was too "dangerous" and too expensive. Trust me, if i had to buy one then, at that time if i were allowed to buy one, I'd would have gladly bought one. it was going for 6k or 10k max then. I guess people got tired of timing 2 cylinders especially them pionts.

Anyway, I want to thank RDD for the CDI because it opens up so much in terms of bike potential. You can actually make the bike perform a lot better with the CDI, not just because of the spark but also because of the jetting it supports.

I bought the bike pretty late, so nowadays you have to be lucky if you get an RD that runs fine. Cant expect more, and honestly you should know that. But you really do buy the bike to work on it and make it faster and more efficient. and honesltly i think it's not that hard to work on the bike. Ever since i got the bike, i bought the haynes manual, and it's pretty good. It's a very simple bike to maintain, just like any trouble free Japanese 2 stroke.

If you have one and you're going to keep it. Tune it up like crazy yourself. Because if something goes wrong, you can always go back to stock. Of course, unless it's a porting job or something. There's no going back then, and if I'm not wrong you need the right tools for that and experience (Have neither).

So remember if have one of these machines, and something goes wrong. It's probably something small and you can fix it yourself, dont listen to people when they say dont try anything. Unless you ike hammering stuff, you just need a set of spanners, screwdrivers, oh and a timing light. (and some balls  )

Because these bikes are getting extinct, and you'll never see 2 strokes again.

So thank you RDD and Rohinton (Very hard to pronounce), for the CDI and the filters. (Still need them jets) And personally, thank you for being in bangalore.

Sincerely,
Kudka

-Enough :-({|= .Now back to my Old Monk.
