I joined RDD couple of days back. Am 32, working as a SAP Consultant for the last 4 years and am based out of Chennai. Started off in a call center and moved my way to the technology I am in now. I ride a pulsar 180 (since 2002). I love vehicles of all kinds right from TVS Champ to Pulsar to a variety of cars.

My riding history goes like this
Rode TVS Champ and Kinetic Honda in school during 94-95
Rode a Bajaj Super Scooter from 95 thru 99
Rode Kinetic honda again from 99 - 2002
Got the pulsar in 2002 and have been riding it since then.
Enjoyed riding all of the above.

Drove a maruti 86 model from 95-99. Drove a Omni and Fiat Super select (62) from 1999-2002. Since the last two years have got a Alto and settled down.

Have been quite fascinated about the RD since school and then it died later in college and my initial days of work. Now it is back again. That why I am here.
I remember one incident when in Class 9 or 10 (1992/93) where I saw a guy on a RD standing close to where I lived (Annanagar, Chennai). I asked him about the motorcycle (typical stuff like top speed, mileage etc). To my surprise he offered me a ride. I rode it like a cycle and I guess he had enough of it and he asked me to stop. Then he said "I will tell you why I got a RD" and then I sat pillion and yes he rode it and I was blown. What I distinctly remember was that with every gear change I would be pushed forward with great thrust. The guy claimed chennai to Bangalore in 4 hours 10 minutes in his RD something which I still think is remarkable (if true).

In my cards is a Classic 500 which I am expecting delivery by December (The damn thing has a 6 months waiting period). A Yezdi roadking which I plan to buy when it find it with the RIGHT price. A RD again with the RIGHT price.
