i called up shuvo last night..he said he was on his way to pick up CDIs from ron..
an hour later he said i could have one today in the morning..the best part was he stays in the same area as i do..
today morning i met him..was surprised to find out that he was the same age as i am.. (was expecting some old experienced hand)
he just loved my bike because it was totally stock..
he did all the installation and tuning..
a very helpful guy..he didn't even bother to have breakfast until it was done..really dedicated..\m/
today evening, i took the bike for a spin on NICE road..and i've listed the differences i felt below..
my bike before installation of the RDD CDI:
decent mileage,decent power, high emissions, engine temperature gets very very high on riding continuously at full throttle..
my bike after installation of the RDD CDI:
higher low end power, better acceleration, dramatically reduced emissions, smoother power delivery
keeps engine temperatures consistent for sustained power during hard use..i'll get a longer engine life..
couldn't check the mileage though..will check and update in couple of days..
In practice, the RDD CDI fitted in an RX offers all the economic and ecological benefits of a four stroke while keeping the exciting peppy performance of a two stroke yammy intact..
if production of 2 strokes was stopped because they didn't meet the high emission norms then why cant the companies start production again with factory fitted RDD CDI's??

Spread the word around if your happy with the product. More people should get to know about the product. You have a nice clean RX, keep her well.
