Hi,i am Ali.My brother(who is also a member of RDD) told me about this site and the milestones you guys have achieved on your (really fast) 2 stroke Yammies! I felt it was high-time i join this forum and learn something from you guys. Heard a lot about members like Joel Joseph,Chinoy and Anthony to name a few. I have also seen Joel Joseph and Anthony race(and win!) at the Deccan Quarter Mile Drag and this increased urge to be an automobile engineer(and a very good tuner) . I dream to own an RD one day but for a starter i am looking forward to buy an RX135! The next step would be to save money and get it converted into an RXC !
This is all from my side hope i can keep-up with you guys
hi! i am a newbie..

Re: hi! i am a newbie..
for me to do auto engg, in a.p,
there is was one college offering it.
it called mannan institute of technology, near chevella.
i had no choice.
and i took the admission without even knowing the location of the college.(actually, it was my father's fault)
the way i see it,
with it being 45 kms from the city,
it isn't going to be easy.especially considering that it takes 2 hrs by bus and the busses are so full that the footboards are scraping the tarmac.
but now, from what i've heard, osmania university is offering the course and 2 other j.n.t.u colleges are also offering it.
studying in fucked up college has a lot of negative points
- since automobile engg is completely new in india and no famous/ good college offers the course, the faculty u get would be pretty useless in imparting proper knowledge.
also, there is no specialization in "tuning"
either u do mech in b.tech and do m.tech in "automobile engg."
or just do auto engg
this is a bit too complicated to discuss on this thread.
it'd be better to discuss by personal message
