There seems to be some confusion on the warranty off the CDI Kits.
As this is delicate electronic equipment we do not offer any warranty of the Digital ECUs.
We can only guarantee that the units will not be DOA.
The extensive testing and quality checks makes sure of this.
In the rare cases of DOA they are replaced. In the last 10 years I have had like two DOAs both in India. And in both cases the owner later owed up to not following instructions.
The ECUs are manufactured using the latest in SMD technology and the best quality components. Robotic soldering and Each unit goes thru various quality control checks at various stages. And is burnt in before being sent out.
But like any electronic equipment can fail. If exposed to vibrations. Or installed wrongly.
If you like we can get a legal sounding document. Which basically states. That it is the sole discretion of the maker to inspect and replace if the fault is caused by failure due to Manufacturing defect.
Re-sellers are free to define their own prices and own warranty terms. In the future we will not be selling direct. And the warranty will depend on the re-seller. The re-seller is most cases is handling the install. So install and trouble shooting is at least done professionally.
In the mean time.
If you are having problems with your unit.
We would recommend you go thru the trouble shooting process.
If your still having problems.
Send the unit to us. We will test it and help you by at least by telling you if the problem is with the ECU or with the install.
If the problem is with the ECU we will try and diagnose what caused it. But this is hard without the bike being present.
If we feel the problem is related to a manufacturing defect we will replace the unit. But this is at our discretion and our decision is final.
In the mean time. I will dig up the warranty terms as offered by other after market ECUs. And offer the same.
This is India. People will drop a Grand Piano on their product and then ask for it to be replaced by warranty.
