i hae been reading the forums from some time and found them very knowledge providing and interesting, so joined it.....
well actually i had posted earlier in RX forums (in my ignorance bliss) for some help required, but was soon guided by elder members to first post in newbee section...so here i am....
( i have already posted this one in RX section but as guided by the members asking the same questions here.... i request the moderators to merge the other thread into this one plz)
i have to commute 60kms (approx.) daily through heavy city traffic and open super-expressway (almost 50:50), and also i m a speed-freak (well a sort of), so i want a good powerfull bike, but not satisfied with the present 4-jokes,
that's why decide to go for a RX and wait for next 1 or 2 years for high-end 4-strokes....
i want to buy an old RX ---
1) which one would be the better value for money (in stock condition) while comparing same year makes, the RX 100/135/RXG/RXZ..
2) what are the specifications of these bikes... (plz kindly do answer this one as it is very painstaking to find the answers from forums and i am not a good searcher)
3) i have asked 2-3 local mechanics, they say that RX100 is best and RX135 5 Speed is worst in over-all performance and life...Is it True...
4)which year model will be the better one for me as i want high low end torque as well as high speeds (approx. 90 to 120 kph will suffice)...
5) how much would the model proposed by you should cost in Delhi NCR and U.P.
i know that these are silly questions considering the repo of forum, but still will be gratefull to all of you if you answer...
A good condition RXZ 5-speed with Ron's CDI would be closest to what you want. The only problem is that RXs are turning into the new generation of RDs. Original spares are getting rarer and rarer.
Even the prices are going up. 50k is what a guy quoted me recently for his RXZ. All he kept on saying was these are "limited edition" bikes and very rare to find.
