Bend over baby!
Thanks a ton to Ron, my good ol bro & all the supporting team.
Our ported RX-135. RDD Motor. Will soon post a pic.
1:45 am - One of those starlit Arabian Sky. - some scanty road lighting on outer ring road. Ride between Devagowda petrol bunk to 'The Club' gate - Mysore Rd. The scary experience. Wheelies in the 3rd gear - RPM climbs that high! It rocks Ron. The bike needs the rpm to climb way high before it puts out power. Gonna be a lot of fun on the track this time.
'Bone Stock' except;
1< The Advanced RDD CDI-3 Yr.2007 ignition system.
2> CCR's Drag/Track porting...Now what is it???
3> One crazy 'kinda tuned pipe !!!
4> Flat slide - 28mm with a main jet like a garden hose - RD pilot
>4 Top end motor - starts building at 5K I think - no rpm guage - pulls and pulls and pulls - until where? Now, is there a button that can facilitate pumping in some more juice?
>5 Discs & Rear sets & Chinoy Filter's for the city & clips-ons & low weight -> 125 Kgs with me on it...prettty naked & yes, I need to loose some weight...
Come on down, Hop on by,
Hop a RDD team prep'd RX and fly,
To another mini-TZ night.
The motor lasts I hope!! - shivering. Off for a couple of drinks..
Again, thanks a ton to Ron, my good ol' bro & all the supporting teamates.

The engine will last.
Ive chamfered the ports. The curve should prevent a holed piston.
Just one request put the bike on a Dyno.
Im booking some dyno time for a SBK will book your RXG on also.

RE: Bend over baby!
Do I need to have it timed again before this 3/4th trackday?
Sur Ron, will put on the dyno after the 3/4 th trackday.

RE: Bend over baby!
Im pretty sure we timed it. If you have the Digital III CDI run curve 2 for the first few laps. Monitor engine temps. Then if you want more power go to curve 1.

You had left the edges razor sharp. Before and after both pointed out clearly.
Senthil came to me saying he wanted the bike to be reliable. I helped him out.
You just raised the ex. port right ?
Cant improve on that brilliant idea.
There are a lot of things wrong with the setup. Like Ex. port raised head not adjusted etc. Blowdown wrong, transfers not matched etc.
The Digital CDI with its Map should compensate for those oversights.
The plan is to get a base line Dyno run now.
Then redo the barrels properly i.e. matching the transfer and blow down TA the EX TA and then see the difference.
Preferably with a fresh barrel.
I did ask for the fresh barrel but Senthil said he was tight for fund. And we would do the new barrels next time.

Ron bugger irrespective of how the bike is ported its a nice setup .... frigging thing has set the fastest RX times on our RDD track days credit to the leather monkey erotica boys for doing that on a shoe string budget.

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Bend over baby!
Just found the time today for feedback on the track bike. It ran really really well. During the whole trackday period of 2 days, my wrench time was only like 20 mins all put together. Flawless running. The engine was running as cool as chilled water after 12 laps of non-stop whopping. Getting used to riding in the powerband - its so much frigggin fun for a bike putting out power only after 5.5K+rpm and pulls all the way till I really dont know where. Man, I love this CDI - revs out running cool!!!! I felt restricted only because of the sprocketing. Could be other parameters as well.
Thanks again Ron and team - Im sure its the shamfering that has ensured the reliabilty of the motor. I have some more plans for the RDD trackday. Will get in touch.
Cheers,
-Sen

Thanks Senthil.
Weather others want to accept it or not. Two strokes running the RDD CDI will perform better and be more reliable.
The static vs Dynamic debate is no longer worth even discussing.

Ron, I wanted to communicate this last club meet but did'nt find an opportunity.
I have changed my mind to run the same barrel this track day. Will do the mods for next trackday.
