Hi everyone

Post by Prashanth »

Hi-

I'm Prashanth, living in Pune and have just got myself a bike that claims itself to be a 175cc 1983 Rajdoot Yamaha RD350. (Mech claims that there was a batch of 150 bikes early on where Yamaha got the papers made this way) At least that's what the RC says. All other evidence points to the bike being a LT/HT hybrid.

If you have seen me lurking around in the forums fear not... Just trying to pick up some gyaan there on day to day maintainance issues and gotcha's with the RD. Am not new to the restoration scene but never owned a 2S twin before.

Cheers,
Prashanth

Hi welcome to RDD-

Visit the RDD city club (pune) and get in-touch with the members they should be able to help you out! It looks like the papers are fake!
The F650 are designed to carry you, your luggage and the kitchen sink into the middle of nowhere, and back again!

Ya I suspected that... But I guess its OK. In our country the fact that a bike has papers of some kind shd be gud enough for most authorities. Will get in touch with the people from Pune.
