Timing set, bike sounded much much better. Thanks a ton rash (pm me ur fav dish, I owe u a few servings of it). Got to learn how to check/set the timing. Need to do some practise now :D
It was time for us to ride the bike when we were hit due to some crapy workmanship put in by one of these Indian mech. Fool goofed up while assembling the engine. So the bike is right now not shifting in gear.

Got a small ride (as pillion) on Rash's RXC

I refered to the mech in pune who was asked to put in the remaining parts together.

Sorry for a late reply.
BIKER666 wrote:So dude Nav....tell me something...u got the digi cdi..u got the chambers what else did you get to put on the bike?? and also once u got all that did you have to do any settings, further tunings or was it all just plug in and go?
Here is the list:
- Ron's porting
- RDD CDI
- Ron's chamber
- Reeds
- PWK
- Chinoy Filter
None of these is plug and play. For the CDI u will have to set the timing. For pwk, Chinoy Filter, chamber u will have to do the jetting.
BIKER666 wrote: I wont be having time to do all this on my bike...so i'd just need something to plonk on and hope it runs like hell...
Sorry to say but these will not work as plug and play.
BIKER666 wrote: Here's what i'm planning..
Get the RDD CDI II (i'm hoping i wont have to do any adjustments for this...just remove old and put this)
Get the big bore kit ie the RXG 5 speed barrel (Ron would i need to get these barrel ported or something would u do this and send?? do u need to have my bike there for this or can it be fixed myself when i get the barrels back?)
Should i get Wiseco pistons(i'd have around 2 weeks to do the run in for this)
Planning to sacrifice a goat...and hope Ron will have time to make me one chamber.
Chinoy Filter filters?
CDI will require you to time the bike.
For porting just the barrels will be needed.
Wiseco are good.
Chinoy Filter ofcourse.
How about pwk?
BIKER666 wrote: Oh and planning to do some re sprocketing too...going for the 14/34 combo or like joel said the 14/37 OR the 16/34 combo...which do u think should i get?
Do add to list....thanks
Do the sprocketting once the bike is running. Then depending on your need you can do the sprocketting.

Sadly dude things have changed....now i'll only be getting the RDD cdi and the Chinoy Filter's...hopefully if ron can get Chinoy Filter's by december...another sad thing is NO Ron Chambers, No Ron Porting....infact my bike's not reaching ron bhai at all...already spoke to him about it and i think if he could reach out of the monitor and grab my neck i'm sure he would lol. HOWEVER...this should be a experience i need to have...will finally get to work on the bike myself...(fixing my ol kine just in case i f*ck up and need to ride around town) will be getting the RXG 5 speed barrels too....will start my own thread about how things goes and problems i'll face...nice to see ur bike flying...lucky buggers hehe. Thanks for all the adivce too....certainly things have changed not looking for any more plug and play things would really like to get to know my bike better, feel ashamed of myself lol.

Update on the bikes status. Last weekend replaced rx100 wiring harness with that of rx135, put in coil, drum and rectifier of RDD 90/100 kit. Installed RDD CDI and timed the bike (it was running some 5deg advanced) due to time shortage could only advance it to some 20deg (thanks a lot Rash). This weekend, fixed the swing arm (the spacer was broken resulting in the rear wheel being all over the place). Fitted chamber and fixed issue with accel cable due (being a bit short was giving problem with PWK).

Right now bike is running better with RDD CDI, Chamber, PWK. Timing needs to be advanced bit more and then jetting (if needed) and some work on getting electrcals working.

Leave it at 20 for now. Get the rest dialed in.
On Mohaques bike we where runing 10 Deg. But it was with a radical MSV and comp.

Since this is a much smaller piston you may need to go leaner on the needle.
I can try and send you some jets if you like. I have doubts about how something jeted for a 165 will run on a 135. But just leaning out the needle should be tried first.

Ok ron, will leave the timing at 20deg. I have moved to second lowest needle pos. Will go to the lowest. Few jets will be of great help but unfortunatly can't read of any number on the existing jet in the PWK. Let me know how much to deposit for the jets.

I think I had put a 135 into it. Let me chk my notes will send you a few diffirent sizes in leaner.
Is it sounding rich ?

Moved the needle to the leanest pos. Warmed it up for a minute, took it out for a 4km ride. Bike is pulling smoothly in all 5gears, don't think I hit powerband (did around 60 in 5th). Didn't push hard in each gear as still first tankfull of gas not over.

Some observations/queries:
- I got no exp of 2st head temp without RDD CDI so no idea how cold is "cold". So after the 4km ride I touched the head, could keep my hand on it for 7-8sec without much of a problem and surely its cooler than the chamber. Is it cool enough?
- Running NGK 5111 BP 7HS plug. Is it ok?
- Ron what rpm I'll hit the powerband?
- Ron jets :D

forgot to mention this:
- having starting problems. With the setting of the idle and air screw bike will not start even with choke. I need to open the air screw a bit more and also increase the idle. Bike will start but then will be idling higher so then I have to get the idle and air screw adjusted back. Any idea why this hapenning?

Because your trying to run a carb setup for a big bore on a small bore.
Heard of jets ?
You need em.

Put a stock carb on if jeting is too complex for you right now.
