UNI Rocks

Post by satyajitmenon »

Ron,

I've already said this, but i'm gonna say this again... Chinoy Filter and Motul both ROCK bigtime. And thanks a whole bunch for hooking me up with the right stuff.

Riding to office (Electronic City)... Got stuck in traffic all the way from Silk Board Flyover to Elec City 2nd phase... I finally got an open stretch and ripped through it.... touched 110kph on the speedo on a road with a slight incline... Wish i had a longer stretch to see how much more it'll go...

I had this big grin when i zipped past a car and I noticed that the driver had a shocked expression on his face as i eased past him...

Ron, any hopes of a bullet RDD CDI?? :D:D:D:D

Speed testing will take a while dude... I'm not getting much free time on the weekends...Plus, before i do all that stuff, i need to get a bigger pilot jet.. got to get my lazy ass over to a yam showroom and get a 17.5 pilot jet.

What diff is the pilot jet going to make , vis-a-vis top speed?

Also, a Thunderbird in stock form should touch 120 kph on speeedo.

1. The pilot jet i want for bottom end... you're right that the top end won't change with the pilot...

2. I haven't taken the bike out to an open stretch to actually see how much she'll do...
what i do remember is that if the bike was in stock form, i wouldn't have managed to touch 90 on the speedo the other day... :D

Happened to check the Chinoy Filter today... found it totally dry... even the inner foam...

@Ron, do you have the oil for it?
