CCR dude, are you on Chinoy Filter as well ?
drop those bull carbs, and fix the RD carbd back with Unis...
I dont see the difference Rajan ...
I have only retained the body of the Bull Carb. The main jets, pilot jets, needle, floats all these are the RD's ... And yes I am on Chinoy Filter's as well ...
Ron one other thing ... the bike now i feel is not heating up enough ... can hardly feel the engine warmth .... im guessing its because of the weather ... so will continue with the 165 mains ... else im goin back to 140 's ;)

As we are not selling just the CDI boxes anymore. CCR opted for a complete kit.
Which was magneto/coils/cdi/rr etc.
That is what I meant.

I thought in addition to the CDI, he also installed free-flow filters and other stuff and hence the better fuel consumption..... this is truly phenomenol, just plug and play a single component and you see a whopping 40% increase in fuel-efficiency.

George lied about the fuel effiency improvements.

Geroge opens tank to chk if any fuel is left post Nandhi ride.
Shakes tank and fuel falls out of tank. George looks amazed.
Some conversation latter.

Me: Why did you lie about the fuel effiency gains.

George: Cause if I told the guys the real figure like 20+ per /ltr they would all go your bullshiting so I picked a safe figure nobody would contradict

Time you put a little more scientific effort into it George.

Yes he had Chinoy Filter filters on prior to puting in the CDI his mileage figures where for Chinoy Filter+Old Ignition. vs Chinoy Filter+New Ignition.

Ok ... I dont know what happennin ... You guys do the math ...
I put in 14 litres after the tank dried out ... Did 45 km in the city ... Went to Nandi hills and back ... 110 km ... Did another 20 km the last two days ... thats a total of 175 km ... The tank has a reserve capacity of excess of three litres ... Dont contradict me on that cause none of u know the fuel tap im using ... I know its in excess of 3 litres ... Its still not reached reserve ... And it looks like there is about 5+ litres still ... So somethin like 9 litres and I've got close to 180 km ... thats bloody obscene ... cause i used to get only 11 - 12 before ... im not kiddin guys ... ask senthil if u dont beleive me ... i use to fill the tank twice for every one time that he did it on long rides ...

and abt the sacrifices in power bit ... sorry ... my bike is now faster that it ever was ... ask guru and the others if you dont beleive me ...

Ok ... But I doubt I'l pass that ... I suspect that one of the engine oil seals is busted which results in my left cylinder smoking like crazy sometimes ...
But if I run the engine for sometime it stops fuming like a dragon ... So il give it a shot

dont question ron :P youll find your polution lower :)
i didnt have rdd cdi but ron had worked on my rd engines and the pollution was less than the four strokes in the PUC guys database.

if your cranks seal is broken it will be the right engine thats smokin. rear brake lever side.

Shouldn't it be the right cylinder that will smoke if the seal goes bust? Or does it happen to the left as well? Ron ??

Read somewhere that left cylinder smoking can be because of some seal being busted ... I dont know why it smokes more ... carbs are running an even 165 mains ... u tube ... plugs are not fouled ... in fact plug color show them to be a lil lean ... so i've stopped trying to diagnose what else could be wrong ... just gonna have fun as long as it lasts ... and keep a check on the engine oil level to ensure that its not gettin burnt out totally

Right smokes more if you have a blown seal.
Gear oil on right.

You say performance is better how?

Hopefully ... thats what i do usually ... a few got blasts and it clears out ... but in traffic after low idle for a few minutes again the smoke screen begins ... like i said ... il go for the test after a proper blasting ...
and im runnin premix ... 40 ml to the litre

Are u kiddin me ... LOL
1. The bike is faster ...
2. Third gear onwards it pulls longer ... I can bet my butt thats 7.5+ k RPM ... Its never done that before
3. Its cut down on spirit consumption
4. The bike feels better and ... i dont know ... u just get the feeling that its not gonna break down within the next 100 km of WOT ... u can keep pushin and pushin and pushin it with all the confidence in the world

What else do u want ...

 Freak!!!!!!!!!!!! I rode up to Nandhi hills a month back...got somewhere close to 20 Kmpl. But never exceeded 80 Kmph and on my way bike the bike refused to start on the top of Nandhi hills(that parking lot) and i can tell ya guys that was scary!!Dont know...my bike refuses to start if it is parked on a surface which is not level. But thankfully from the top of the hills to the bottom of the hill(when you hit that little village) the decline is so steep that i didnt have to start the engine. And thats some 15 kms. This is the way that i could manage to get 20 kmpl. But the way you would have ripped on the ride and with all the city riding included if you have still managed 20+..thats amazing man!!!!!!!! Merry x'mas!!
Just a question george...i have ridden your machine a few times when it was with K-shove...it wouldnt rev past 5.5K RPM....what were the figures you had managed pre RDD CDI and post RDD CDI?(Talking about RPM)...
