my RX goes digital
my RX goes digital
Thanks Ron..the CDI rocks. I fixed the cdi couple of days before.no confusions, straight away connected the couplers.orange wire is connected to the brown wire located in the head light case. bike started on the first kick. (i 've a brand new bat) Did a 350 km trail run.everything is perfect.
this is what i noticed
a high reving engine
engine much smoother than before
no loading up/restriction like earlier i think with better combustion
cooler cylinder head
i am yet to check its limits. thanks once again for this kick ass product.

Thanks Ron, I was very busy at work hence could'nt visit the forum so often. I am yet to change the timing and see the benefits . I thought of getting a new coil plate and do it. at it let me suggest one thing? can we reshape the Cdi so that it fits under the seat on the OE fitting?

The orignal CDI is like 3 components. ANd could be fited into a pen cap.
This sadlly has 20 times more components. ANd the CBZ CDI box is the smallest I could shrink it down to.
The stock CDI is under the tank. I run the Digital cdi Under the seat over the oil tank.

RE: Re: my RX goes digital
i actually taped it on to the chasis just below the tank? is it ok ? do the performance of the cdi changes in anyway when we change the fixing location? can i increase the length of the wires (by using male/female connectors) so that the cdi can be fixed just above the rear mudgurad (plastic portion) below the seat using a custom clamp? is this ok or it will affect the spark strength? pls advice
