saw the video,
Bike looks slow. It should have left a bike like the pulsar standing.
1. The RD350 28mm carbs only make sence on a race port not a street port. And yes you need biger reeds first.
2. FLuter and timing have no connection unless you have not advanced enoughf.. If your flutering it means your jeting is out.
3. Its Rs 150/- per jet. If I had a RXG I would get all the sizes or at the very least 165,180,190,200,
4. Hopefully we should have some videos of the Track RXG racing some RDs youll get an idea of what power the RXG can put down. Then again you cant ride such a bike on the street.
A street bike should be what you have now. Enoughf pep to get you in front of the next guy on the road.
Your wish list should be
1. Reeds
2. Carbs
3. Pipes (Real chambers). THough Im nto too keen to do them a. I dont have the time. b. the minute I do them I know they will get copied in Bombay.
4. Weight reduction.

just bought an RX100 silencer ( including bend pipe) frm chor baazar for 300 bucks!! ( will put on the RXG muffler with the baffels throughed) Not a fakin dent on the silencer! but yea its rusted...thinking of painting it black , would prefere it cromed but the guy that usually does this stuff has ruined/dented a couple of RD and RX silencers while attempting to crome them , so i dont wanna take a risk...road for about 50kms+ in the city ( vashi , chembur , town & back) and boy was riding the RX fun!!! amazing in the city...it pulls so hard that u have to upshift to fourth while pulling in the powerband in 3rd to slow down in the city otherwise things can get hairy....wanna overtake anybody down shift...hear the rpms building for a brief moment , hear her scream and she shoots....overtakin in city traffic , traffic on the highway is a breeze...amazing...i really am one real paranoid sonofabitch to keep thinking that somethings not rite
dint get the RXZ engine casing , btw u need to get the RXZ engine casing if you want to fit on the RXZ tacho onto an RX cas some parts that r required for this fitment dont come along with the RXZ tacho worm kit...will be getting that fixed by nxt week...oh and shes giving preety good average as well...filled 100 bucks when the bike had almost finished half of its reserve quantity...went ripping to town frm chambur and back after filling 100 bucks , it came back into reserve when i was half the way back to vashi frm chambur ( thats almost 40 kms in total including city traffic and pulling in the powerband)...and she runs cool man really cool...could touch the head even after riding in city traffic non stop for more than half an hour. was cornering like a maniac today! ( mental block seems to have gone ) but its maybe cas i havnt slept for the past 24hrs that ive become reckless...best bang for buck motorcycle EVER to be produced in india. The RXC

got the rxg silencer on with with a st. thru muffler on the bike...i find the powerband less wilder than it was with the chamber or maybe ive got used to the powerband...low end response has imporved like faks , the bikes seems so much more lively at lower rpms ...the powerband comes on a lil late in 3rd and 4th but then it revvs out more now than it used to with the chamber...dont feel like upshifting at times when im pulling in say 2nd or 3rd ..it just keeps going and going thank to the RDD digital CDI...am enjoying the hum of the silencer now ..got tired of the racket of the chamber..this is nice and mellow at low rpms and then in the powerband it screams...when i hear her scream in the powerband on this exhuast it bring back memories of bangalore where these sounds were common on the streets....here in a bombay ull hardly hear an RX on stock pipes screaming in the powerband...have to the get the pipe chrome plated and then will post pics. oh and the best part that i like about running her on the silencer is that i can now hear that Chinoy Filter SUCKING in air...aah...and she looks like a complete stock RX135 if not for the yezdi tyre in the rear , sleeper baby yea! thanx ron and everybody again for all ur help and advise which im gonna keep needing

never been caught for using a chamber in bombay...plus points of bombay traffic over bangalore traffic: roads are wider and better hence average commuting speed in higher...and cops dont hassle you much unless ur faking around....and im running the rx silencer with rxg baffle throughed on the bike as per rons specifications...throttle response is amazing now as compared to the response on the chamber and the bike starts with one kick ( even cold start!) as compared to the 5-6 kicks required to start the bike with the chamber on...never imagined an exhaust especially a stockish silencer over an expansion can make so much of a difference.

Its just that the Expanshion chambers you where runing where Bombay Made. Or one of the local Indian crappy Brands like Proton or that other crap company. Real Chambers properlly designed would be a diffirent story. And would give you a 30-40% boost over stock pipes.

Okeyy…understand that u don’t have time to go thru the entire process…but…still…wish u could...

im running the rx silencer with rxg baffle throughed on the bike as per rons specifications [/quote]Vampire wrote:rxian wrote:hey vampire, dont the cops chase u if u r running on expansions?
wait a minute...am i missing something here?
what r u talking abt??
wat i know is that 'baffle' is the final converging cone,b4 the outlet pipe, in a expansion chamber...but wats with rxg baffle???
can some1 plzzz be of some help
the exhaust pipe ( silencer) as well as the muffler ( a hollowed cylindrically shaped object with perforations that goes in at the exhaust end of the silencer) has plates placed in the middle that are called baffels...they help in dispersing sound ( as well as some of the exhaust gas?) so that the exhaust note is softer...what a throughed muffler is , is when the baffel plates frm the muffler are removed...i found the throttle response better.. bike revs out more and yes it is a lil louder than the stock muffler after getting the muffler throughed . hope that answers ur question.

Part II
umm...bikes still being set up..dint get to ride it very much , am presently sorting out carb and jettin issues with the help of a good friend. the bike running ron 90/100 electrical kit. with the latest standard RDD RX/RXG CDI . the whole electrical setup for the RX is sweet. good quality , great funtionality and good value for money. im running a stock RX135 electrical specification bulb it think its a 35 and 12 V or somethin not sure. and it illuminates the road like the head lights of the new bunch of 4 strokes. wonderful , its a blessing . my previous lighting was soo bad that riding at night during long rides espcially on the outskirts ( where the roads arnt lit) was such a pain that i juss dint enjoy riding and couldnt push the bike to mine and her limits cas i juss dint feel comfortable with my visibility. now thats not gonna happen anymore.
my bike was running a stage 1 street port on an RX135 5 speed barrel. so sorry for the earlier mistake of saying that she was running a stage II port set up. bikes still not 100 percent tip top. my barrels arnt perfect courtesy running her on crappy oil , the bottom end is stock and she's dont close to 15k kms if not more , but its ok im on my way there. as i said earlier i havnt really ridden her much to actually give u a proper feedback but yea she is faster and alot more powerful and another thing is im running a stock exhasut . so if anybody is tryin to build an RX to beat mine , trust me man im not even in qualify to stand in the competition since im running a very budget / compromise set up. hope to enjoy the bike thoroughly till im here...hope my bottom end holds till then and will keep updating this post as we sort things out.
cheers

RE: Part II
ok sorry for repost but couldnt correct spellin errors and dint want ppl to misunderstand me.
Part II : bikes still being set up for part II ..dint get to ride it very much , am presently sorting out carb and jettin issues with the help of a good friend.
the bikes running Rons 90/100 electrical kit , with the latest standard RDD RX/RXG CDI . the whole electrical setup for the RX frm RDD is sweet. good quality , great funtionality and great value for money since its more or less like a limited edition.
im running a stock RX135 electrical specification bulb it think its a 35 / 12 V or somethin not sure. and it illuminates the road like the head lights of the new bunch of 4 strokes ( eg: fiero , pulsar). wonderful , its a blessing for me. my previous lighting was soo bad that riding at night during long rides with friends espcially on the outskirts ( where the roads arnt lit) was such a pain that i juss dint enjoy riding and could not push the bike to mine and her limits cas i juss dint feel comfortable with my visibility due to bad illumination . now thats not gonna happen anymore. so more mile munching.
my bike was running a stage I street port on an RX135 5 speed barrel in the begining of this post. so sorry for the earlier mistake of saying that she was running a stage II street port port set up. and she was still fast , faster than all the stock single cylinder indian 4 strokes till date.
bikes still not 100 percent tip top. my barrels arnt perfect courtesy me running her on crappy oil , MOTUL man MOTUL , a lil expensive but worth it..will get my hands on em ASAP .
the bottom end is stock and she's done close to 15,000 kms if not more, so she has almost reached her end, but its ok i know what i need to do once this botom end konks off..need to get the exotic , wisceco / hot rod/ exotic setup ..funds dint permit me to take care of that this time .
as i said earlier i havnt really ridden her much on the new setup to actually give u a proper feedback but yea she is faster and alot more powerful and another thing is im running a stock exhasut . so if anybody is tryin to build an RX to beat mine , trust me man im dont even qualify to stand in the competition since im running a very budget / compromise set up. hope to enjoy the bike thoroughly till im here...hope my bottom end holds till then and will keep updating this post as we sort things out.

ps: i need a good exhaust
