rd350_1988 , from delhi

Post by rd350_1988 »

hi all
already posted in a couple of others topics.
dont go by my ID , i dont own a 1988 rd!
1988 was the Registration no of the rd i owned for 10months (in 2000). it was a 1984 model...
thats why the id 'rd350_1988'
my current steed is a pulsar 180 (the first version) , which i bought second hand in 2004. still lookin for a good rd in delhi, but luck has not been on my side yet. one more reason that i am hesitant to buy one is that i do a lot of biking (in city and highways) and the riding the rd wud mean burnin a deep hole in my pocket (fuel and maintainance)..
but the 10 months i had it for.. well, i was livin life to the max. why did i sell it ? a)risin fuel costs. b)risin maintainance costs. c)wanted to do touring bike time.. my rd had already heated up twice on the highways..

anyways, if wishes were horses (or whatever) , i wish yam cud bring it back (which is next to impossible)..

if i am lucky enuf, sometimes i get my hand on a fren's rd and its tuff keeping the rubber side down ;)

i am 24 yrs of age and presently un-employed (other than occasionally lukin after my dad's business).

Guys where are your manners.
Allways remember a golden rule the best way to deal with an enemy is make him your friend.

Welcome on board.
Forgive the nasty posts. (But you know we have a rep for being bad boys ;) )
Ah 24 years old. The year you where born I was racing my Java in Delhi. Geting into fights with biker gangs and had 2 girfrinds who used to stalk me lol those where the days.

Shit you whernt even in nappies back them.
Anyway enjoy your stay.
Youll be geting a job soon and hopefully that will allow you some freedom to buy another bike.
The Pulsar's a good comuter. Good choice. But there is nothing like buying your own bike with your own money. Who knows it may be a RD or a two stroke.
Though for touring nothing beats the bullet.
So what touring do you do. Make some posts on the road trip section about your tours.

Dont think anyone had a wilder initiation.

Yes your first post in the BIKE thread had good words about Ron and RDD which most people missed.

I am only 18. I am too young to ride an RD.
