Hello Guys

Post by nitinbirari »

Hello everyone. I am a naval officer of the rank of Commander posted in Secunderabad (don't please ask me what a Navy guy is doing in S'bad. I do not sail ships in the Husainsagar Lake. ) I am B.Tech. (Mechanical), M.Tech. in Machine Dynamics & Controls, MBA in Operations and completing another in International Marketing. I am a trained mountaineer. Trekking and photography are passions. I have undertaken many aerial photography campaigns for the Navy, particularly of the Islands of the country. I mostly do landscapes and sometimes portraits in a small studio I have at home. I write a bit, and dream of publishing a novel or two in near future. Ihave travelled in most of the country except for the Himachal/Uttaranchal side. Lakshadweep, Andamans, Ladakh, Sikkim & Kerala are my favourite lands. I have been to Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, South Korea, Japan, Phillippines, Malaysia & Singapore. My dreams are (a) to travel the whole of Central Asia in my car or on my bike (b) to sail on the backwaters of Kerala (for which I have built a small boat myself) and publish a coffee table book of pictures and a travelogue.

I have biked a lot in my younger days (I am 35 now), and have owned Yezdi Roadking, Suzuki Supra, Yamaha RX 100 and finally Hero Honda Splendour. Bought this woderful car Peugeot 309 and stopped biking for the past few years. I am missing the thrill of riding a bike and hence wish to pick up one soon. That will be an RD 350 for sure, and I hope some of you nice guys will help me in that. I have never really been a member of an online forum, and hence am sorry if I offended some of you guys since I started my introduction with an "ad" to buy an RD 350.

I am at nsbirari@yahoo.com and 9440921721.

I shall look forward to interacting with like-inded guys here.

Happy biking.

Welcome Nitin, good luck in finding your dream machine.
If it can't do a wheelie, it isn't a RD.

Thanks everybody... I have met and spoken to some really interesting guys thanks to this search for the RD. That is a great plus in itself. And when there is a will, there is always a way (and a bike to ride on that way). Thanks again, and hope to see more of you all in the days to come. I am happy to be part of this wonderful commune. All the best.
