Hi All,
I am haneesh from Erode, Tamilnadu currently working in Bangalore as an Business Intelligence consultant (a fancy title for an IT consultant :D ). Am 28 years old and have been riding an RXG 1996 model (still great and roaring!!) for last 13 years and a suzuki Fiero 2001 model.
dreaming about owning an RD350 since my college days and joined this group without knowing anything about this bike. surfed through a lot of threads here and learned a lot (lot more to learn still) and thank you every member of this group for coming up with a great knowledge base over the years.
Apart from bikes I also like movies, cricket & traveling. That's about me and hope I'll get my RD350 soon.
Cheers, Haneesh

Hello all,

I am Rahul, 29 years old, basically from Goa and currently residing in Pune. An ardent lover of the RX. I know you guys will call me a freak, but, yes I used to own a RX100, RX135 5 Speed and later a RXZ 5 Speed, sadly, sold them away. :( (An honest confession from an ardent lover of the RX)

I am not much into the mods and like keeping my bikes simply clean and stock. Currently, I own 2 Suzuki Fieros, KS and ES each.

In the months to come, I an thinking of buying a RX 135 5 Speed so wish me luck. :)

Regards,
Rahul S

Hello everybody,

My name is Abhishek, 23 years old, and I am from Mumbai, Maharashtra. I am a Chemical Engineering graduate from BITS-Pilani, and currently I my aim is to join the Defence Services. Currently, I own a 2012 Yamaha R15 Version 2.0 and I am soon going to be a proud owner of a 2001 Yamaha RX-135 4speed (Waiting for the bank NOC).

My passion for bikes, especially 2 strokes, is what brought me to this forum, and I have been reading and trying to gain as much knowledge about 2 strokes by going through various posts and threads available on this forum as well as xbhp. I am a staunch believer of DIY, and most of the time I work on my R15 (except for the engine part) because I do not trust my bikes with the SVC mechanics (let alone the roadside mechs).

I hope that I could be of help this forum by posting my limited knowledge, as compared to some members here, wherever required. Hope to have a fun time with you guys here.
Thanks

Regards,
Abhishek

Hello RDD members, my name is Ankit Vijay Kumar, I'm 32 years old and I live in New Delhi. Got educated throughout India due to dad being a fauji. I was actually born at the Bangalore Command Hosp.

Work Exp:
5 years at GE Capital Intl. Srvcs
5 years at Accenture Mgmt Consulting
What I ride and drive: 2003 Rx-135 (4 speed), 2014 Duke 390, 2009 Ikon TDCi, 2011 Polo TDi
Where I can be reached: +91 9953440357

I joined the forum last year (July) but did not post an introduction simply because my long time dream of having an RD350 was still a long way off and I mostly was looking to educate myself. The dream still is a long way off but this year I feel I should have it. Due to the complete lack of trustworthy bikes (could be just my experience) I decided to assemble an RD instead. Yeah, sometimes I laugh at myself too :P
Still, that being said I never thought it would be easy but at least I would know what goes in it. Will have myself alone to blame if it bombs. Instead of being sold a piece of crap I can take a shot at it myself. The best (what I'm hoping for) is that I would learn a lot and actually put the bike together and then be able to maintain it along the way, since its going to be a piece of my heart. Once I have it I don't plan to part.

Welcome my 2cents for you.

1. There is no way in Hell. You or anybody you know is going to be able to build you a nice engine. So at least get the engine done by a professional.
2. What ever you do. Make sure you have clean papers. There can be no compromise on this.

Thank you Ron. I have papers with my donor frame which is the best I could do, for now.
An ol mech from Doon is helping me out with the engine, he does RDs and basically 2 stroke yams. Was afraid to ask, but how long is the queue for an engine rebuild by you :D

Welcome Visakh! That's a really nice stable you got going there!! Three 350s of different types. Not much more, a man can ask for... :D

Good move hitting the track! You'll really start enjoying it as you do more of them. Not many places where you can consistently keep maxing out the KTM and the RD, I suppose. Enjoy!!

Hello all,
I'm Sriram from Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. I own a custard yellow Pulsar 200NS and it's managed to munch 539**kms till date over a period of 30 months. I'm an avid tourer and a Cornering junkie.

My intention to join here is to obsrve, participate and learn from the threads and posts. I also consider myself fortunate to be a member of NAKED WOLVES, a riding club exclusive for NS owners in India.
I believe that I can contribute whatever I know and learn back a lot more than that which is why I find these forums very sensible.
