Post by Akhil2212 »

My name is Akhilesh

I am 40 years old and by work as a Global program director for Maersk.

My passion is riding bikes and after loosing my 83 HT RD 350 ; I am now trying to own one again now and as part of readiness getting myself upto speed on all considerations for restoring and maintaining the Bike.

While I will go through the details on this most valuabe site, I will appreciate if some of you can share your experiences and guide me in the right direction.

Look forward to your valuable inputs.

Thanks

Hello Akhil! Welcome! Nice to see another logistics professional here.
If you're planning to get back into motorcycling by buying and restoring a RD, then better put aside a great chunk of time, money and sanity for the project. :D

Like Dragstar said, read up and learn as much as you can. And then keep learning some more. Don't be in a hurry. Its the only way to get it done properly.
You'll be better off asking specific questions when you have any, most have been discussed here anyway.
