Seniority on Baba Vapes. Its advantages.

This was never supposed to be a big business. At least not in my head.

It was about finding healthier alternatives to importing juice from China and USA.
Where we could use only the best PG/VG and flavors with no compromises that every business needs to take when chasing profits. All of a sudden it seems to have exploded to something we where not prepared to handle.

If it grows too big we may stop accepting new customers in a month or two. In which case we will continue to support our existing customer base only. i.e. people who have placed an order with BV will get a seniority based on the date of their first order.

The guys like Moshi, Simz. etc etc who where our first customers will be assigned membership numbers based on when they placed their first order. The lower your number. The more senior you are.

I know people will say expand the business grow it etc. Big business have big problems. I like to keep it simple and small.
As long as we are a small little kutty business with no money and a tiny customer base nobody will bother us.
We can keep our customer base tiny and focus on quality and value for money.

The Mrs keeps records. All the names and adds are recorded in a book.
The way things are going we will have to cap it at 100 regular customers.

Other ideas to slow down the explosion in demand.
1. Postpone launching the web site indefinitely.
2. Only accept customers if they are referenced by an existing customer / member.

Am open to any other ideas. Nice to keep it as a hobby / passion rather than go commercial full tilt which is what will happen if it continues to grow at this rate.

Lets see 100 customer mark is not far away the issue is once we get a customer he sticks to us. And becomes a regular. So its not like its a floating customer base.

i dont think youll have big buisness issues till you reach 1000 custimers atleast. End of the day its your call

Ill be really honest here.
It was one thing to take so much time and effort into making something for friends.
People who I have known for years. When you make something nice you want to share it with friends.
But to do it for total strangers its proving to be quite challenging.
May be I will offload the logistics of running the business to somebody else. And just focus on flavor development and testing.
One thing is that as the business grows. I get some funds to pump back into buying new flavors and I can develop new stuff.
That is the only thing keeping me going for now.
That the present sales are funding new flavors everyday.
Our present methods of mixing and steeping can not be scaled up. Then it will become just like any other shop. Where the customer has to steep themselves before they smoke. I have a pretty good idea that the reason people like our flavors is because they are matured well with all the steps we take every single day for every single flavor.

Anyway the reason for making this post was more as a token of appreciation for all those who have helped us grow so fast. You early guys will be recorded and remembered. Thats it.

Glad to support Baba Vapes. Great juice and the ability to sample flavours before you buy. Even for customers outside of Bangalore samples are now available. No other juice vendor in India gives you this freedom. Trust me, I've tried. I would recommend BabaVapes any day of the week

I remember thinking for 1 week before buying my first flavor it was Indian Tobacco and they wanted 600 Bucks for 10 ML.
I thought about it for 10 days before buying it. Then after buying it I regretted buying it.

This is what made me realize that when people pay for a juice they must be able to enjoy. It Chances are high with new flavors that some people will not like it. Taste is subjective.

By giving free samples or even allowing people to buy samples for cheap. Nobody minds wasting 50 bucks.
Then when they buy a flavor they enjoy every single vape they take of it. And good vibrations are sent your way.
A lot like the good karma you get every time somebody smiles when they ride a bike with our CDI.
Life is like a Box of Baba Vapes flavors lol.

You can think about some monthly subscription services like ZampleBox for the customers. It will be really good for us.

I dont get the point of such a service. You can already buy samples from us. What more do you want ?.
Make it harder for you to buy samples ? Put terms and conditions in ?

No it wasn't my mean. I meant that if you start any monthly subscription services then might be we can get some priority discounts and we can always get the best flavors of the month chosen by you. As a subscriber user is sure that he/she can have all the supplies on as example 1st week of the month. Supply can be fixed as 60 ml or 75 ml.

In my view benefits will be
1. Subscriber can have all the best chosen liquids of the month from your side.
2. You always have the idea of the total orders of the month
3. Might be some awesome deals from your side in every 3-4 month exclusive for box handlers.

If my thinking is wrong then please I apologize as these are just my thoughts.

My marketing skills are zero. So its all above me head.
People wanted samples we said ok. Have samples.
Now you want to complicate it ? Sure how complicated do you want to make it?.

Let one of the MBA types come up with the scheme and Ill implement it.

Also doing anything for 500 bucks is not worth it. Min should be 1K.
Which is why we have a 1K min order in place.
