Fast-Tech Question.
ordered 1 hanseng e-liquid from fasttech.com . Lets see if it comes through. Damn cheap. costs 120bucks + shipping. Lets see what happens in a month. With shipping costs 225. Didnt wanna loose money so ordered just one. How long since your fastech order?
Re: Fast-Tech Question.
when ordering from China. Make sure not to order anything about 2% nicotine.
Because then the customs can seize it.
If its below 2% they cant stop it from entering the country and worst case can charge you 30-40% import duty. Though I heard the real duty is only 14% need to check the rules.
Fast Tech is called Slow Tech on the US Forums. Cause they take so long to deliver. And most of the time the delay is caused by our Indian Customs.
Ive placed huge orders with guys like Fast Tech but am not expecting to see anything for at least a month.
Ive also placed huge orders with US based companies lets see. Which comes thru first.
90% of the serious vapers in India. Stock up on supplies from the US & China. Its only the guys starting out that deal with buying stuff. Locally.
The Indian e-cig sector is totally dis organised and just ripping off customers. With huge margins for all the guys in the chain.
I say keep a look out for small shops that may be selling this stuff. You may find a small shop that is importing from China and selling it for reasonably cheap. i.e. even small pan shops. And corner shops.

Re: Fast-Tech Question.
ecig shop in vijayawada? lol not happening. not unless i start one.
looking at how everyone's ripping everyone off, im thinking i should start selling this stuff at prices it should be sold at..
Any idea whats needed to buy em in wholesale other than an importer license?
I know it take 20-30 days when ordered via fast tech. But shipping's cheap.

Re: Fast-Tech Question.
IMHO this is one scenario where ripping off might not be too bad...It's like providing not-bad-looking clean babes at 2X rs to people who've been busy boinking aids-riddled beauties at X rs
Re: Fast-Tech Question.
Im going to start selling stuff. If nothing but to get the other players to reduce their prices.
And Im sure Im not the first guy to have this idea.

Re: Fast-Tech Question.
on prices, putting aside the initial investment of a starter kit, at most, the prices including coils and e-liquids should be such that it should cost less than a pack of cigs with similar nicotine content. This going by a thought similar to the 2x babies one. This way the seller profits while the people migrate from big tobacco to e-cigs. However, in current times, The prices WILL fall to a standardized profit margin that's reasonable. The advantage of an early adapter/supplier would be much bigger market reach. I see potential in this business.
though i was thinking 10% profit on investment, which makes business sense..
An important factor when considering coils and e-liquids, is that this is no speciality business. Anyone with half a brain and negligible investment can make their own liquid.
Which means ripping people off will stop eventually.
Im opposed to ripping people off.
The reason this happens in any product or service is cause
a- people are too lazy to d.i.y or research
b- its very new and not much is known i.e lack of knowledge
This always stops.. eventually markets get saturated with product/ service providers. Knowledge leaks
I think in the current world markets, it is becoming harder to follow the old school business model of holding knowledge/access and charge exhorbitantly, Unless a well established monopoly is active.
which brings the question of establishing new business and on what grounds it must be established. I think a new world buisness should be based on one of the below
1- mass manufacturing or selling in large numbers. Get the economies of scale on your side.. this works much better when your reselling than when your manufacturing
2- coming up with innovative ideas and asking a price that is reasonable.. by making the price exhorbitant, the manufacturer in this case attracts lots of attention that could give rise to more manufacturers of the same product, thus harming himself. This ofcourse is unless the manufacturer can patent it or withold knowledge like apple computers.
This is getting wayyy past o.t. My apologies
To sum it up, im pissed at the indian ecig scene. and am considering doing something about it
here's something on-topic.
my order has been shipped. for those of you interested in tracking it
