I am awed by the plethora of information available on RDs in this forum. I am planning to own one very soon. When it comes to technicalities of a bike, i know the basics but never had any hands-on experience of putting a bike/engine together. Very much interested in learning but laziness always gets the better of me and i prefer to let the professionals do it the right way. That brings me to the reason I joined this forum - to get a good idea of what I have to know before buying a RD. I have read many times that customers like me always ask to get ripped off but I am hoping to get help here and not let anybody rip me (well, not a lot atleast). As a disclaimer - I will be asking some really stupid questions and pray for patience from the members and yes I will do my research on the forum topics before I post anything. Well i think thats enough for an intro. Happy to be here !!
P.S: If Ron reads this - I am sorry for sending an email asking if you can help me buy a RD. After I read the introduction I realized you dont deal bikes. But I will bug you with other questions and consultation queries
Ciao for now.....

Hi Anoop666 (Anoop Narotham), and hananthakumar (Anantha Kumar),
Welcome to RDD. Hope you find what you are looking for. Two stroke lovers are getting rarer these days and well yet every 2 wheeler rider loves them and always dreams of them. Since both of you already have RXs and enjoy riding them, I hope that your stay with RDD helps you enjoy riding them better than ever before. Mr. Anantha Kumar, as soon as you say you own an RD, me being an RD owner too, there are many many questions that come to mind , ht/lt, what size barrel, what carbs, what exhaust pipes and so on. How long have you owned an RD, have you met any of us members. Please tell us more about your RD
Cheers
