TIGER SPORT INDIA - TIGER 1

Post by rajiv »

When we look back at our school days, we never forget a GOOD TEACHER. I have known Ron for about two years. He has taught me so much. He is strict like a Head master. But at the end, that is what you are proud of. He teaches you discipline in the build.

Stories aside, Ron has great logic. I knew he could do a good build. I knew he had good logic. I also knew that he has not put a complete saloon race car on the grid (With all due respect to motor sport experience).

He convinced me to switch to Honda inspite of us already starting work on an esteem.

He has built us the most powerful 2000-2003 Honda City NA V-Tec in India. If anybody wants to dispute that put up your dyno numbers.

He never took any shortcuts in the build and it is his attention to detail that has got us this far. He will go on and on fine tuning things. He surpassed my power target by twice the number! I said thirty percent more and he turned in twice that ane more.

Great to have him as a part of the Tiger Sport India Team. It's been a great experience. Today we made it to 4th in the Indian Touring Class, the highest for a Honda.

A BIG THANK YOU. WE WOULD NOT MADE IT TO WHERE WE ARE WITHOUT YOU.

Thanks for the Kind words. I know that I can be a difficult person sometimes. Thanks for putting up with me.

I have learned a lot about life, how to deal with people, business and even some logic from you.
Its great to work with somebody who is on the same wave length. We share many views in common including the no compromise on reliability.
This build would not have been possible nor the results as good without your trust. And the freedom you gave me.
I have never felt the warmth and genuine friendship of every single member on the team. You have a knack of picking only the best to work with you. So it has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience. You opened your homes and your hearts to me. A debt I can never repay.

Proud to be a member of the Tiger Sport Family. To be associated with people like you, Ram, Krishna is a matter of pride and privilege to me.
More than anything I can honestly say Im having the time of my life. And living my dreams.
Muks babba can finally sigh in relief. We didn't land up killing each other LOL. (Joke only Muks will get).

Wow, it is great to see you post here Rajiv. Glad things have worked so well.

Rajiv, both you and Ron have been guru's to me from a few years now. You guys know so much about automobiles, think, dream and enjoy tinkering with these machines. Many times both of you have put up with my stupid questions on vehicles and have become some of my best of friends.

I hope and pray that this is just the begining of a grand association / journey with many many more firsts for Indian motorsport. I remember dreaming of how grand it would be to see you guys collaborate back at the Coimbatore track when I came there to the first track day. Never ever in my wildest dreams did I imagine that you guys would strike up such a fantastic partnership... way to go... =D> \:D/

Cheers

When i decided to have Chinoy as a part of our team, he seemed to have a huge fan following of 'keyboard warriors' who were always attacking him. To all the 'Keyboard warriors', my message to you is this - We are all simple guys. We do not have any attitude. If you want to be a part of our team, do come and spend time with us. As for Chinoy, We accept him the way he is. He has done the work assigned to him and we are happy. For what he specialises in, he is a genius.

It was an honor to be part of your team. And a member of the Tiger Sport Family.

Like I keep telling people. This was just our first build. Bigger and better things will happen for sure.

Thanks guys. We are having the time of our lifes. And really living our dreams.
Cant ask for more. Good friends, happy memories and challenges worth taking on.

We often go through life. Asking god to throw us a challenge so that we can prove what stuff we are made off.
These last two years where challenging to say the least. We took the ride baby and what a ride its been.
Like they say Pressure always only gives you two things.
More Coal or Diamonds..
I think each member of the team has handled the pressure well.
