Hello fellow RD fanatics

Post by 47isrd350 »

Name: Ian
Living in Florida
Work as a refrigeration technician
Also working on Master's degree in Architecture

I'm kind of new to this site although I found it years ago after I found my first RD350.
Right now I have two 73's, but both are in sad cosmetic shape. One is only a motor with expansion chambers - no lights or mirrors or anything - just scary as hell.
The other is complete but I have it running on some generic coils I mounted to the frame and still using points and the seat is torn - planning on installing rdd kit.
I've got a bunch of work to do, so I'm glad to have found this place of RD crazed individuals.

I think these RD's are like misbehaved children; they will take your time and money, be loud, blow smoke, and possibly kill you, but still you love them. :D
And they will beat the crap out of other children!

Welcome aboard Ian.

The 73's were the best of the bunch in my opinion.

I hope we'll be able to help you in whatever way we can to bring both those 2T warriors back where they belong - on the road! John Rodenheiser, who runs EconomyCycle will surely be able to give you a good deal on whatever parts you may need. And he's a top guy.

Cheers.

This is an older picture of the one running on points still. I plan to give it an electronic ignition soon. Also, as I said, cosmetics. But that doesn't bother me when I'm riding, so it will be the last thing I do.
