Expect to pay upwards of 5K for a used Hitachi points assembly, pair of OE HT coils and the OE rectifier, because that's what I sold mine for not long after installing the CDI.

Thanx again bt i have the coils n rectifier.. i even have the hitachi points but the problem is the left cylinder points have been broken.. broken in the sense one of the two contact points broke off. can i have it timed that way because even if one of the contact point is broken there is still contact. or can i have it repaired???

Hi all, I've been a Yamaha fan ever since I've sat on one for the very first time.

I currently own a RX 135 4 speed, mildly ported by the friend from whome I purchased it. My younger brother owns an RD 350 HT stock. I also own a 1999 Honda City, but thats secondary to my passion for biking. I've been riding for about 15 years now and can proudly say that Ive never had any major accident.

I'm here is to learn from a highly knowledgeable set of people and also share my own but limited knowledge about 2 stroke machines. The primary reason I'm here is HELP. I have finalized the purchase of an RXZ 4 speed stock and plan to custom build it in the next 3-4 months. I would need all the expertise and advise as my knowledge is limited.

For all the fantastic moments my bike has given me, I've made one promise to her: I WILL NEVER SELL HER, NO MATTER WHAT.
