For those who uses RDD cdi and still crib around.
Dont want to put the names over here but last saturday got confirmation what i use to hear from Ron that all jokers who crib RDD cdi's price, its performance etc a lot are using them for races etc, and yes people are hiring or using what they got from their sources the RDD CDi.
Ron is it possible to force a rule to disclose the configuration these jokers are running in drag races?
Still they come around with new identities and put shit on the forum, shameless jokers.

Can't change the mentality man.
It's a psyche thing. To go 'one up' on the other person, easiest way is by denouncing him/her and feeling a high that ''I'' criticized him. And to sick minds, that's a huge kick.
There's a funny paradox regarding pricing , atleast where i come from. Guys are willing to spend insane amounts on supposedly ''rebuilt'' RD's , but when i mentioned that i've placed an order with Ron for the RD export CDI kit, the trademark answers cracked me up.
Good to see here that Punjabi 's going the RDD route. Guys like Sandy, Tanvir, Jashan, Rohit.
Let the haters massage their egos. Everyone knows what is what.

Re: For those who uses RDD cdi and still crib around.
These mostly are the people who are either banned/ kicked off from RDD and/ or think static is better than dynamic etc.
Here are some of their quotes posted on the other forum-
'All participants are Bangalore based and there are many many more talented guys who know quite a few tricks on how to make a 2 stroke move like stink , something that your digital box can never learn or give you.'
'there are ways and means to make your static cdi work with consistency. There is a way to solve the fluctuating current on some RXs and it has got nothing to do with the cdi - problem lie with the coils / rest of the circuit, use a multimeter and find the problem . you should be able to sort it out , after all you have the benefit of education - illiterate mechanics here in bangalore are able to not only fix it but are able to push this puny 135cc machine to achieve 12 sec figures at the 1/4 mile using static stock ignitions '
'Just ask your digi CDI guru as to from where he gets his 90/100 Kits from!!!!!!!!!'
I am openly asking any guy here on xbhp running on RDD goodies to walk-the-walk agaisnt my
5-Speeder. On paper everybody's RX seems to be doing 140Kmph, lets do it once & for all. Anybody interested may send a PM with Date & Time, i will be there.'
'theoretically everything seems very brilliant. what happens in reality is the real eye opener. Please do not ask me what I think - all i can tell you is I have seen both sides of the coin and what people tell you here when they market in the hope of scoring brownie points - talk out of their a$$ , we all did it , at a time when we knew alot less ,'
'half the guys who break their head on ignitions do so because their bikes move like crap. So they think a " DIGITAL " ignition is the solution to making a motor that holds some 100 psi static compression move like a GP500 2 stroke because it has " wasted spark" and is the answer to all their problems'
' the static OEM CDI was never a problem and is without a doubt in my mind ( after running quite a few digital boxes ) the most bullet proof - fail proof - idiot proof ignition there is for the RX WITHOUT compromising on performance or reliability ( commuter or racer ). The people at Yamaha are not idiots '
Theres lots more.
All these guys are from Bangy itself and its as if it is RDD vs. rest of the bangy guys. They have this grudge against RDD and its customers. Even people who have never used the RDD box have started blabbering against RDD maybe bcoz their minds are being fed that way. The moment they see the RDD name being mentioned they think ppl are marketing it and lose their cool.
Many of us already know who these people are. Would love to see Bangalore RDD guys actually see their much hyped bikes and take up the challenge in a sporting manner and get each others doubts cleared once and for all.

Best ignore these idiots. Not worth wasting time on educating or schooling them.
That would be the worst thing to do. As far as i know, people get RDD products to make their bike move better, thats the entire point. Not competing against others in saying mine's better than yours.nitesh wrote:Would love to see Bangalore RDD guys actually see their much hyped bikes and take up the challenge in a sporting manner and get each others doubts cleared once and for all.

@Nitesh
Do you really think you can be "sporting" with these people!? And what really would that accomplish?
Most of these boys learnt the words static, dynamic and host of others on this very forum. The root of all the knowledge that they bandy on about elsewhere lies in this very forum. They were idiots then and with a little knowledge they're utter arseholes now. How do I know? Most of these same boys were once regular fixtures at our weekend meets, trackdays and parties. Must suck big-time that the very place they hate so much was the place that taught them their elbows from their arseholes. We have enough dyno-pulls, Veypour logs, a record at Nandi hills on a Bullet that most RD's couldn't match last time, a car in the National Saloon class and countless happy customers from mopeds to bikes to cars in India and abroad to say that we're above these hate-filled mongrels. Do you really want us to go down to their level? The idea is to evolve.
The only answer I know to such irrational hatred is to build better and have more fun with whatever it is that we're doing at the moment. Here in Bangalore, at RDD the current challenge is to finish building all those numerous dream builds that people have been lining up for. We're happily constantly working away at this. Do you really think we should give that up to play in the mud with these idiots?
I understand your difficulties as someone who moves on various forums and finds it difficult to say you're happy with RDD when you have a hundred clowns attacking you in a base way. I would request that you ignore such idiots and simply say that you're an extremely satisfied RDD customer and leave it at that. If nothing that should piss them off even more!
Re: For those who uses RDD cdi and still crib around.
@nitesh I know where that's coming from, because I kick started that shit fest HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHHA!!

Re: For those who uses RDD cdi and still crib around.
The simplest challenge that I offer is to race from Bangalore to Malvalli (nearly 100km) non-stop. I have seen the wonders of the RDD CDI on my RX and how I can ride non-stop with hardly any heating up etc... I'm yet to meet some one who is willing to take up this challenge
Cheers

Customers are happy and they end up making new friends. Here. For life.
Ron's got an engine build wait list.
Win-win-win.
End of story.

Re: For those who uses RDD cdi and still crib around.
Guys this thread is pointless.
I have basically given up on the Indian market.
Production of RXG / RX100 CDI units have stooped for good.
The only market I am going to focus on is the Export Market.
Many years ago we refused to sell kits in India. I now see the wisdom in that move.
And am slowly reverting to that.
Due to the fact that they can no longer buy the CDI and run it quietly. The latest fad is to hire the units. And prices in the black have doubled.
But I really dont have the time or patience to deal with such a market.
I tried my best it didnt work out. Story over.
And yes Im very very happy with the way things have worked out. Regular Export Orders for the kits. Regular requests for builds both bike and cars.
In fact I have more work than I can handle. In my wildest dreams I could never have imagined that I would be sitting on 30-40 RD engines for porting and re-build.
So the Indian market is not all stupid.
Like I said else where. When the camps where split on RDD. I got the smarter guys on my side. Funny thing is most of the mouth pieces who attack RDD. Almost always come back after a few years and Apologize to me. The standard excuse given is Sorry. I was a clueless kid back then. Now I know better. My standard response before slamming the door in their face is good for you.
Discussing Negative stuff on the forum. Becomes an energy drain. Lets focus instead on the positives. The greatest year of my life. A chance to prove what can be done with the right approach on a National Grid. And all the builds that need to be finished. So locking this.
Nitesh Pathidahr : Is this the guy from Bombay porting RXG cylinder's ?
