Finally!!!

Post by roshiba777 »

Got my RDD CDI Kit 2 months back but did't installed it as i was afraid of blowing it don't want it to be instaled by any mechanic read each and every post regading the RDD CDI install Firstly got the RXG wiring harness SWISS make and Rajdoot ignetion switch.. and just keep it on side as i did't know anything regading the install so finally last sunday think of doing all the work by myself without any mechanics help and removed the RD wiring and points assembly.. Then insalled the RXG wiring harness firstly installed the rotor without the key and measure the place where it sits then installed it with the key in place and when i am sure its sitting at the same location fixed the base plate.. removed the OE ignetion coils and removed the paint from there so there is metal to metal conatct and tightened the coils supplied with the kit. Fixed the RR unit next to coils again metal to metal contact...

Put the CDI in the rubber belt provided with the kit and wrapped it in plastic bubble paper and taped it and put it in the tool box below the tank and leave the installation there as i was little afraid of connecting thinking what if something go wrong but after thinking for a while i connected the brown wire from the CDI to the rear brake switch brown wire so there is current only when switch is on.. Then kicked the bike few times it starts for a while and did't start again then it comes to mind to check the petrol on the tank there is no petrol so filled petrol and just kicked and it comes to life i was soo happy to hear the engine running after 2 months and it idles soo well have not seen it idleing like that in last 5 years Switched it off and tried it once again and again it started in first kick that too without using choke have not timed it yet and have not gone for a ride have to fix the clutch and front brake levers... Thanks ron for such a amazing product...

Thanks to Ajay Biz, Mohit, Shuvo and Ron they helped me a lot in installing the CDI they keep replying to my stupid questions and its just because of their help that i have installed the CDI by myself without any mechanics help.. its really very easy to install the cdi before joining RDD i did't know anything about RD but its only after joining RDD that i started doing my own wrenching and today i am able to install the RDD CDI.. Have to set the timing and have to install the RDD filters...

Any one who is running the bike on points and some static CDI once try RDD CDI you will love it it will change the bike completely... I am fully satisfied with the RDD CDI...

Thanks a lot Ron for such a amazing product

Now time the bike.

And your an offical Tuner.
Welcome to the club.

The Rabbit hole goes deeper enjoy your trip in the wonder land.

After you get the bike timed and runing and your really really freaking out on the bike.
It starts with the Magical Idle. And it only gets beeter from there.

Once its all done sit back and think about those trying to resist the RDD Magic.
Le me know what you feel.
Resistance is Futile LOL.

Thanks Ron for your help thanks Mohit..

Today checked the voltage at battery with DMM at 4500 RPM the voltage i am getting is 15.08 Volts

Don't know why people bad mouth such a great product even they have never used it on their bikes today a friend from delhi visited he got some Static CDI from a famous Delhi Tooner saying me its the orignal CDI that comes with the RD and made in japan saying me again and again its orignal its made in japan and nothing comes close to the orignal made in japan CDI.. I told him to take a ride on my bike even i have not set the timing yet even then he was blown from its performance after that he has no words to explain the difference that RDD CDI has made... He spend close to 12K on that CDI he was just happy saying its orignal its made in japan i asked him how he likes the bikes performance after RDD CDI he has no words to tell and he felt ashamed he is also one of the few fools who bad mouthed about RDD CDI and just behind the stock CDI but now he is ](*,) that he got such a crap CDI for 12K when he can get the world class RDD CDI in same price..

Anyone who is bad mouthing about RDD they are the biggest fools who just waste time and money on stupid static CDI's.
Anyone who loves his RD350 please try RDD CDI for once you will not go back to anyother cdi or points again installing RDD CDI is addiction once you installed RDD CDI you will love it forever..
I am completely Alien to electronics and CDI when i can see the gains from the RDD CDI then why so called tuners bad mouth such a wonderful product..

Love you Ron for your hardwork and making such a amazing and wonderful RDD CDI

Its not just Delhi man its happening across India.
People who made fun of us and workshops that ridiculed us and our products are all being questioned now.
Customers are demanding our CDI and these guys are now facing the music for the evil they did.

The sad thing is having run us down. They cant approach me for the CDI and they cant approach my dealers for the CDI.
So Imagine their plight.
They are now contacting people they know who are my friends and trying to buy the CDI trhu them.
Its really funny.
Team Carbon Know what Im talking about.
They is a term for this its called Karma.
Boy are they starting to look stupid.

Just make sure you run a fuse, your grounding is good. And your bat is good. All connectors are firmly in place and you should be good for many years.

Your voltage is ok.
It may drop down a bit once your bat is fully charged.

i remember after installing the cdi a group of guys came(cousins friends) who all had rds with them.they took my bike and had a ride..they all said the bike just plls real hard in al gears plus they get an extra bit of over rev too..they all though it was running on points and asked from where did i get these points and cam..i was just laughing and saying its runnng on rdd cdi and told them to show a bike which runs similar to it with points..they had no say..and i remember these were the guys who said to me that rdd cdi were the worst thing an rd can have..

now they have learnt the lesson and so no more comments with the products..its waste of time and energy to talk to guys like this arguing about the product..better to concentrate on our bike and business coz educating them will make things more dirty..
