HI GUYS..
yes u read it right. this is wat happened to me after joining the forum

i recently gave my bike the digital cdi from rdd.advanced the timing by 4 degrees. needless to say it eliminated the brick wall the bike used to hit at 7k. its revvin cleanly and more importantly emission has reduced bike runs relatively cooler during ripping.. mileage more or less remains d same.

being a guy from a non technical background the first thing i did before installing the cdi was to read up extensively about the cdi on the forum. by the end of it i had a fair idea as to wat the cdi was supposed to do and wat to expect from the cdi i can confidently say that i know more about the cdi and the mechanical components than some of my frnds who stand clueless when i explain to them thanks to rdd

RDD FILTERS:
a few days back felt the urge to give the bike rdd filter and jets. so went and collected the filters personally and got it installed by one mr. asgar. he has done a beautiful work of installing the filters.( hv provided the link). thanks to shuvo for spending his time changing the jets personally

well, the dentist went crazy after plugging the filters old people freeze on the roads when they hear me approachin.. 4 joke riders turn and hv a look.. people pull to a side when i get closer.. street dogs go ballistic... phew...!!! remember this is with the catcon. wonder wat wil happen if i m on chambers or the rx 100 pipes with baffles throughed people might come out and revolt against the dentist

never had this feelin on the stock bike though. all thanks to the great brain which developed the cdi great joy in the fact tat this was done by an indian for indians

Congrats mate ! btw I like the way you fitted the Chinoy Filter. Why didn't I think of that ??

remove the cat con,install the normal RX100 chrome silencer,your bike breath even more freely

m running 180 but the top speed has decreased a bit(110 speedo) before the filters it wsed to reach till (130 speedo). can anyone guess wat might be wrong

180 jet is RDD Size.
Its probably a bit lean for your bike.
I will give shuvo another jet in a few days just follow up with him.

But first you need to tell me if your top speed is more or less by going rich on the needle or lean. To save time Try leanest and Richest clip.
Let me know which way it makes better top speed. And a jet will be provided.

is it possible that the extra length of the pipe is hampering the performance or are they unrelated to each other?

by the way which bike do u have... looks like u hv a curve selector hooked up... great can explain if it can be done for rxz 5 speed and about the cost..

today got into a race with a karizma and needless to say i sank without a trace.. i wasn expectin to beat him though.. just that i went home with a nagging feelin that i made a fool outtta myself stock rxz with the cdi and Chinoy Filter taken down by a 4 joke was something i m not able to digest can anyone plz tell whether it was coz of my bad riding skills or was i asking too much fromm my bike?

wat mods can be done to make it a karizma or a pulsar beater? (bike must be fun to ride like it is now) plz help...

Man, it is hard to say why a karizma smoked out an RXZ with Chinoy Filter and cdi. Need to see you in action for understanding why and how. Many factors that can contribute and imho in city traffic rider, braking, power in different rpms and road conditions. Since there are so many factors which are yet to be analysed, why are you thinking of jumping into carrying out mods ??? Suppose it is the riding skills - then what happens to all the efforts to mod ? or suppose it is the nice breaking on the karizma and many mods are carried out ??? Hope you consider what factors need improvement and channelize efforts there. I hope you just have fun on the bike now that you have got the rdd goodies for a stock bike. There is always so much to improve upon one's riding skills is what I believe. Hope you think of these factors like I have been for the past few days about the ideal 4 wheeler for me

a stock rxz 5 speed with all the rdd goodies will smoke a karizma in a drag for sure..no doubt about it..if u r talking about top end then yes defintely it will be more for a karizma..the accleration will be rxz..i u want to beat karizma in a top end then may be a twiny porting and a good set of chambers would do the job for u..and yes provided ur riding skills should be fine..as ajith said there is a lot more to improve in riding style..

I would be last person to advice anyone on riding style, blame mukund for that wisdom . The RX boys on the recent anchetti ride showed my Karizma a clean pair of heels fairly often so i am sure the RX is more than upto the task. I personally dont like street racing and never advocate it. I will say the catcon is a boat anchor and you will like the bike better without it.

the rxz 4 speed... which performs d best? kindly suggest
