A very good morning to my fellow bikers, My name is Ashim Dhar I reside in Kolkata and am 40 yrs old and love Bikes.
Iv owned quite a few bikes since i moved to Kolkata in 1989 the list is a bit long and maybe confusing ........

(1989) Bought a second hand bullet 1968 model for 12k practically learnt to ride on it.
sold after 3 months coz it felt too heavy and slow.
Bought a s/h Yamaha rx 100 for 16k fell in love with it instantly the acceleration was just............all i can say is
I shit myself on numerous occasions.

(1991) A friend of mine was a real bullet freak (and still is)he convinced me that i should get a bullet again and so with that
dug dug dug sound in my head i sold the Yam and purchased a 1970s ex military bull for 11k. was a good runner and
beat was perfect the paint job not bad. After 4 months the problems started, mainly the head gasket kept blowing.
Got so pissed off sold it and went looking for a yamaha.
Found another tight Rx 100 for 15k but i must admit didn't get the same thrill as the previous one remember there
were no tuners in Kolkata back then, come to think of it there aint any tuners now either.

(1992) That friend with a bull came calling again AND THAT GOD DAMN SOUND STARTED IN MY HEAD dug dug dug dug dug
dug dug. Sold the Yamaha went looking for a bull. found a 1979 for 13.5k i was going to keep this one.
If you are still reading then you have patience. I should actually start a thread considering this is supposed to be an
Intro, so ill cut it short.

1992-1994 bullet 350
1994- yamaha Rx 100
1996- no bike, sold the Yamaha as i needed cash for a new business.
1997- New Vespa Select II dont ask why.
1999- 1985 bullet 350 super deluxe. The bike i should have kept.
2002- New Pulsar 150 1st lot, piece of shit. sold after 3 months
2002- Yamaha Rx 100
2003- Bullet 1989 model deluxe in good condition (yes that friend did come around again)
2005- Pulsar 180 dtsi ug II good bike never let me down.
2006- Hero Honda Karizma R Very good bike to ride, economy sucked big time.
2010- Enfield machismo 2004 model with a transplanted CI head.
2010- Sold the machismo the beat wasnt right plus left side shifter felt odd.
NOW- Rx 135 5 speed.

Waiting for new release this Dewali but promised myself would keep the YAM.

Sure thing as soon as change the rear wheel as the guy who owned it put a 16" rim. I plan to fit 17" front and rear.
Oh forgot to mention the previous owner made some mods on the rear swing arm, extended and weighted for stability will post pics ASAP.
