the bike has done 400 km almost through the run in period..
and it runs flawlessly, let me pen down a few good things point wise:-
1. The RDD CDi 100/90 kit lifts up the generation of this bike by atleast 3 decades from where it was , the bike runs cooler , im running 55/60 w halogen awesome lighting.
2. The powerplant speaks for itself has a very nice, smooth and peepy bottom end and there is some more nearing 6k + which i did once only and odo read (FZ digital one) 124 kph.
3. The front end set up done by ADDU mian (the mech) is working perfectly and of course the fully working digital console is addictive (Done by ARJUN).
4. The carbs presently r standard and r working pretty fine...

Re: THANKS RON ,ITS THE WAY I WANTED !!!
loads of hard work and human hours have gone into the bike -thanks Ron
like to thank Danny, Mukund , Arjun and my mech Addu as well
wat i learnt frm this built is :-
be patient with it,it takes time
no second thought about quality of spares.
its better to drive the bike in bangy for a week or so to sort out any problems if any..
Shall be switchin over to Motul 800 shortly ..

Glad you like it.
I have a feeling you still haven't experienced the real power of this engine.
Wait till you finish 500 Km. Add some motul 10ml to the ltr / 20ml regular then it will show you its true colors. Till then its still only showing half its colors.
From my side your run in is over. Pull it to 500 Km and then start blasting in short bursts. i.e. start pushing the engine it should make peak power at around 7500 RPM.
You can play with the power band. How you like. If you want more reve's back off the timing.
If you want more low end advance it. Your present timing is around 26 deg @ 3500 RPM
This is how I time my builds.
a. LT stock is 24 from Yamaha I run 28 (PURE LT)
b. HT Stock is 20 from Yamaha I run 24 (Pure HT)
c. Combo / Danny port. I run 26 Deg.
I give full credit of this build turning out so good to you.
We could have landed up with a shit motor. But you saw the condition of the crank and the gear box and the barrels and picked up that 2nd engine.
That was the turning point in the build. Once I had a crank and barrels I could work with everything changed.
