Mwahaahaaahaaaa!!!She lives!She finally lives!!

Post by reaper »

Finally,my 3 year dream has come to fruition. She's a little rough around the edges, but her heart is finally where it belongs.Yeah i know the brakes are dicey at best and the cycle parts will probably hold up till 60 kph,but I can finally ride MY bike into the proverbial sunset with a wheel in the air.
I took her out for a small spin a little while ago and got that rush back. The rush of having a proper 2 stroke with almost predictive inputs. It;s like it knows what I want it to do.Everytime i'd see a clear stretch of read,it felt like it the bike was saying "rev it up,I can take it and a lot more".Sheesh.First time i'm slightly worried I won't be able to ride a bike within my limited abilities. It's a beautiful feeling.I'll be sorting out the cycle parts and brakes on Sunday and then i'll be hitting NICE road later on in the evening.
When i took it out of Ron's building,i scooted over the bridge and took a u turn.On the way back up,i gunned it a wee bit.let's just say that i have an inkling of what a human cannonball feels like.
Ron,dude for all the ribbing and shitty jokes i subject you to,this build is what i've wanted.Even while she's being run in.I owe you and everyone associated with this build a lot.
The power delivery is smoother,a lot more linear and has that nice, meaty midrange i've been craving. No more light switch power delivery,no more getting scared shirtless the right cylinder's gonna frag.

And for the record,no it doesn't sound angry,it sounds pissed off.I'm beginning to appreciate the amount of work and love that's gone into this motor.
Thanks to Rdd and it's members, another motor has had life and a little extra something put back into it.I don't know what it is,but i like it.
All hail Don Ron!!

Cool man.
Your run in will be over in one tank full of gas. Then you can start adding Motul.

The old TZR carbs you have on her are not suited to Bangalore roads.
They may be the cats balls on the Track or a Drag Strip or a all out Sunday Ride. But for Bangalore Roads. Stick with the stock carbs. Or a set of new Flaties which can be tuned for slow speed.

Thanks for your patience in seeing this thru to the end.
Now just fix the cycle parts and ride.

Ajay removed your post.
There is no point man. I have been trying to educate people for 10 years.
Let it be.
Just smile every time you see a RD runing a Moped CDI.

If we didnt have such guys around how could we enjoy our own bikes.
