Hi All,

I am Vimal Nair From Mumbai. Basically Am fom From Kerala. I own a Yammie RX-135 1999 (4-speed). Looks like a Stock Bike, Only mod done is rewinding for the Light Coil and seperate charger for battery From a famous guy from cochin. Installed a Big Silver Doom with 7" Minda Reflctor,Philips 100/90 Halogen Bulb. It Gives Damn gud powelful light. Also Put a Custom made Expansion Chamber.Changed Front Mudguard to Splendors Fibre model just to avoid rusting and it looks great on Rx.Like to do some more alterations on the looks after this monsoon. Since it gives a gud power which touches 115-120 on the speedo and a mileage of 35-40, I dont want to touch anything on Engine.

I was always been a Crazy Fan for RX series.I wont opt for another bike if given free too.I think there are lot many rx fans like me here, I can get so many more inputs on bikes and make more friends here.

If ever you want to make your "gud" power higher, you just lost 5 Bhp - Ron is a mallu though, so in future posts just address him as Ron etta and all will be well!

You must be runing stock porting and stock main jet right ?
Because a bone stock 5 speed should have a top speed of 110.

Many of us don't like RX at all and i thrown 4 RX's in last 2 years LOL.

@ chinoy : My Rx is 4 speed. 2 times cylinder rebored. Jet is stock and local Air filter. Planning to put a KNN.

Nice and clean looking RX. The pipes seem to have some performance mods to it. Do those dimples help?
Do you have close ups of the carb area? What is that thing which looks like it is held up with some string?
What has been done to the engine and who is your tuner?

I ve done the painting work and Engine work from a garage in Andheri(E)(Which was quite expensive).Pipes are Local made which gives gud sound ,not loud in idle and up to 3k Rpm.I gave the bike and chamber to a local mechanic to get it fixed. In order to fit the chamber without having any difficulties in kick start, that crapy guy dented the chamber. Other than the bad look,Didnt had any change on performance due to denting.

The thing which u seen with the string is a mileage booster. Since there was some circuit related probs in the PCB, The connection is been removed.

I used to give the bike for service to a local mechanic(I stand with him to inspect the way of job he is doing till the work is done).
