RDD CDI Installed

Post by roshiba777 »

After getting my Rx135 5Speed the first thing i want to do is to get the RDD CDI and Chinoy Filters.. So placed an order to Shuvo he is such a nice person i get my courier after 4 days and opening the courier i see that magic box the build quailty is soo good and each and every wire properly hand written so a person can install the CDI easily.. So got the activa plug cap, activa CDI belt but did't found the plugs i searched every where but did't get the MICO W5BC plugs then started searching for NGK BPR7HS plugs but again they are not available so finally got the plugs after travelling 55 km from my city.

Then checked the wiring properly and measured the current for the proper functioning of the CDI everything is ok so planned to go to mechanic for the install but finally think of installing it by myself thanks to Reaper for sending me the install docs for the RX RDD CDI install where each and every detail is mentioned so after reading the install docs i finally started t he work and it just takes 15 minutes for the install this is the first time that i have done any install on my bike. Switched on the keys bike started after 3 kiks. Sound is much improved and bike ideling at very low RPM and taken the bike for a ride bike is running much better then earlier but i am missing something the feel of power is not coming... So driving the bike for 3 days with the same timing planned to advance the timing by rotating the plate clockwise by drilling 2 new holes in the coil plate..

Taken the bike to a mechanic firstly he not ready to advance the timing he started arguing why you need that your bike will run like shit finally he agrees and now he started playing with the optional wires i told him not to play with them but he did't hear so i packed the stuff and come back home yesterday firstly removed the RDD CDI and installed the stock CDI i gone to someother mechanic and told him to remove the coil plate he did as i said and i taken the coil plate to lathe shop and drilled 2 new holes and installed the coil plate bike is running like shit with advanced timing and stock cdi that mechanic was laughing at me saying that you will come back to me and you will revert back to stock timing. reached home removed the stock CDI and installed the RDD CDI again bike started in 3 kiks taken the bike for a ride and i was so amazed to see how the bike is performing and its not getting warm anymore as earlier come back home smiling. Today morning taken the bike to mechanic who installed the Coil plate for some adjustment of the carburattor and told him to take a test ride when he came back he was confused and his expressions changed he asked me what have you done to the bike its running soo well i was soo happy and told him regarding the RDD CDI and come back home.

Thanks a lot RON for making so wonderful product i can't tell how happy i am after installing the CDI and now started saving for the RDD RD CDI for my RD350 it also needs your blessing..

NIce,

Shuvo it might be a good idea to provide plug caps, and a pair of W5BC to customers(especially in the north).
