hi guys.. m chethan from bangalore. joined d forum recently. i own a yamaha rxz 5speed 2002 model(stock condition)
hobbies are biking,reading, sports, etc. lookin forward to some much needed advice on upgrading my bike..

any advice on which air filter is better.. rdd air filter/ k&n/Chinoy Filter/ green...? m confused by the opinion i hv received...

Many guys here feel that K&N is crap. RDD filter=Chinoy Filter+jetting support+Uncle Ron's special oil. Don't know bout green.

I have no personal experience with K&N, but with Chinoy Filter Filter kit (RDD Filter) my bike runs like a charm.

If I was you, I would stick to the roadmap which has worked wonders for many of us here and would first get the bike to run in a 'good stock condition', followed by the RDD CDI which is a must.

but my bike is in stock condition..! is the digital cdi and air filter still available with uncle ron...?

Dude call Shuvo. You will find his number in here. Both cdi and filter are available. First restore your bike to good condition, then fit the CDI. Do mods one by one so that you can realise their gains and sort out any problems you might have. Follow the roadmap (reaper has mentioned the link)

k done... but even if i get the cdi and filters where can i get it installed guys.. do the guys at rdd do it themselves?plz dont feel irritated

You can do it yourself if you like. If you are not sure about that Shuvo will do the install for you
