RDD DIGI V FEEDBACK

It all started in the year 2000,when i came across the website eindiancompanies.com which Ron was running.it had a lot of info's, like how to drill disc brakes,Rd cylinder porting pics,etc,etc.Took tons of print outs from that site and the adjoining links,Made a hard copy of it and named it RD 350 folder.Desperatlety wanted to upgrade from points,but had couple of friends who had upgraded to CDI(shogun magnet ,rx cdi.bla bla),and was pushing the bike, needed 25 - 30 kicks to start the bike. So was scared in investing in Ron's product.Wanted to see Rons product personally, but no 1 i knew in mumbai had it or heard about it.Didnt have the time nor cash to waste, to go to Bangalore and see the DIGI 1 personally.
Instead i got hold of a workshop manual, dial gauge, the adapter for the dialgauge,timing light and diamond files (to ploish points face).and started timing my bike as per the manual.took me around 4-5 times to get it perfect.finially i learnt how to time the Rd.i started timing my friends and their friends bike for free.
Then seen an Ad for Autoescorts Cdi,called the guy to find out he was willing to come home and do the installation.Got Autoescorts for my bike,it was ok kinda stuff,the timing was perfect but found the oem ign coil produced better spark than autoescorts igni coil which was like a pencil cell battey. Went out on a ride to pune from mumbai,got stranded at Panvel cose the CDI melted & 1 Igni coil blew up.Had to Can that trip. called up Autoescorts.All was in vain.Got back to points again.
Finally rode a bike with RDD Cdi, it was a dream,Then Found A Guy Called Sarfrash from Orissa selling his digi 3 on orkut, called him up he had already sold the stuff for 10k, reason i asked for selling , he relplied was ,he had sold his bike, asked him about the rdd digi 3 product, he said that it was the best thing u can buy if u love RD.He said about the dyno test before & after he carried out ,the figs were impressive. He also said the waiting period is around 6 months, that made me mad again.Tried to contact Ron left some pm's on the site, dont know whether he replied back cose had joined sea after couple of days.After 6 months or so met Aditya from Aurangabad, Got Rons no. from him, called him up placed an order for digi5.was waiting very patiently to get my hand on it go it finally on 23rd Nov09.
Got the bike running on 24th Nov. Took help form Ron and Aditya,for instalationThank you guys.I was all smiling on 24th evening after i got the bike running,it was smooth, the exhaust note had changed, 25th moring went on 25km test run, the ride was ajoy ride,smiled all the way upto 25 kms.Engine runs cooler as Ron promised,Starts in 1 kick.
Pulls very well in all gears up to red line.H.light is much brighter.There is a huge difference in power delivery,Too Happy with the bike.Thanks a ton Ron.I feel i have wasted 9 years to get the product .
Sorry for writing the feedback a bit late,was out on a trip to Goa, came back today.
Next would be filters and jets.

Now you know why I fall off my chair in splits every time somebody tell me they have a RD its running auto escorts or some other crappy static setup, and the bike is flying.
One guy actually wanted to challenge my kit with auto escrots kit.

Nothing brings more joy to my life. Than an Anti RDD prat who runs down the RDD CDI and products because he has the auto escorts Ignition.
Karma in action babby.

Id also like to thank all my CDI customers guys like sarfarz etc who have been honest and praised the product.
If RDD is running today its because of guys who are straight forward and appreciate a good product.
I still cant believe there are prats who have the guts to run down the RDD CDI.
As more and more people like you step up to the plate and tell it like it is. Their faces have just got to get smaller and smaller.

It may not be a perfect system. But we are always trying to improve it.
They kit you have took 9 years of hard work to get it to where it is. And the support off over a 1000 RD owners arround the world.

Dont you just love the way the engine sings now. Its a stress free happy note. The kind that makes you smile.

leoagnel.. .. I have similar story. And would like to tell you all that I am the one responsible for Autoescorts TI for RD. In 90's , I had visited Auescorts stall at Thane. They were marketing it for cars then. I was desperate to get rid of the CB points on my RD. So I ordered two units . The owner agreed to make magnetic trigger as per my drawing for free provided I give him a full report on how it worked on RD. Well it did better than my worn out points . And next I saw was the units were marketed for RDs.
I ran autoescorts for a while till pickups shook themselves loose .The fun of riding on the CB points had vanished. . But now with RDD CDI it moves how a RD should, even better.
