Million thanks Torqu3e! Finally received my long time dream, RDD CDI and that too under 24 hrs delivery( banglore to guwahati). got it setup and running in no time, and my bike was spitting fire like anything.. one suggestion to everyone, please go for an Activa plug cap irrespective of anything. on my bike, once i advanced the timing, my bike started back firing at speeds +60KMPH and then engine would die. all these symptoms point towards faulty timing but BANG!!! got it fixed the moment i swapped the plug cap.
Thanks Ron and Chinoy and to the extended team of Rddreams(if there are other members..) this is really an amazing product and i will try at best from my end to suggest people for RDDreams. Rddreams rocks.......... \:D/

Ron and Chinoy are both alter egos of the same guy.
There is no hope left when you start declutching an RD.

Im surprised your unit is still working.
Instructions are clear. DO NOT use without a Non Restive Plug cap.
DO NOT use without first checking if your RR is working.
Still people openly ignore this advise ?

Well i did check the company installed plug cap for resistance, it read 4.8K Ohms, and the pulsar coil and source coil before proceeding with the installation. in fact the source was about 80 ohms over the limit, so reconfirmed with torqu3e before going ahead. later i was suggested to revert the stator position to stock and try but i instead tried changing the plug cap and it worked.

I had specifically mentioned that you can try reverting timing back to stock assuming the fact that you may have over advanced it, but before that try an original plug cap from a Honda showroom.

I make the instructions as clear as possible.

I think its best to just offer the Plug cap at an additional cost.
