Hi Ron,
First of all thank you very much for the RDD 90/100 kit. The time it was taken out of the box in which you sent itself my mechanic told me its light weight and my bike is definitely going to gain from that...
The following were the things i had to do in my bike to make my poor old RX100 which was in 6V
1. Brand new 12V battery
2. RX135 wiring kit(didnt want to take a chance and spoil the fun with wires taped and tried).
3. 90/100 bulb for headlights with 12V horn with 12v meter, indicator and tail lamp bulbs.
4. Bought one headlight dome and holder of Mitsubishi Eicher minibus to keep the stock headlight.
5. 12V flasher relay
Got these things done in around 2hrs..purposefully did the same from 4-6pm so that straight out of the workshop i can enjoy the new headlight and w/o any problem the bike ran out smoothly with its headlight on.
Cant believe for the first time a santro coming against me flashed its headlight to make me change from hi to lo...seeing this my brother wanted to ride and the stopping point was at the KTDC beer parlour thinking though we cant see the headlight can show us the way home....
Will post the pics once am back after my vacation...now every day have to make a tough decision whether to take the RD with RDD CDI or the RX with 90/100 kit...over and above feel like the vacation period is too short....
Thank You RDD for 90/100 Kit

Re: Thank You RDD for 90/100 Kit
Hi Jay nice to see your enjoying your RDD goodies.
My 2 cents try a lower bulb maybe a 60/80
Running a 100 watt is like buying a music system and running it at full volume all the time.
I find that a 60/80 give good lighting and even the engine seems a little more responsive.
Remember your lighting is like Generator.
The more you load it the more power is required from the engine to drive it.
Hence 60/80 would effect your power the lest.
Hope you timed the bikes.
If you cant. Then just set it to max advance on the new plates and then back off till she stops over heating. Or runs best. It should run best at plate fully rotated counter clockwise.
