I am curious to see if you gain back the lost performance just by the stock endcan alone.

yes that i'll have to check.also a factor i have to consider is that the time i installed the end can the weather also changed drastically.the ambient temperature of the atmosphere changed by about 4-5 degrees.sudden and shocking change i must say.maybe that too has something to do with the lost performance because as it is the filter was sucking in hot air and now its even more hotter.very much more hotter.

i'm waiting for the monsoons to start.only then on cold mornings will i be able to decipher whether the end can is the culprit.

Move the air filter inside the car, and keep the AC on always, and voila your hot air problem is solved totally. Wicked ehh?

yeah man.and when i'm at it i'll also shift the engine into the cabin with the AC on and bump up the compression as well.it'll run cool and won't knock because of the AC right?

Navpreet the only reason Im not telling you the proper way to do it because I know it will be close to impossible for you to pull it off.
You basically need to build a tuned Horn. Taking into account where you want the power.
How hard you want the hit etc. This what I did for Mohits car.
Im afraid buying a Filter and finding a good spot to plug it in is the best an amateur enthusiast can hope for.
Its pretty much like building a chamber actually except your attaching it to your intake.
Some times length and tapper give better results than cold air. Though nothing like having both. And it is possible to have both. (Some of the salon race cars have both).
You need to get your car done up by a proper tuner man.
If you can afford a 10-15 Lakh car. Whats 40-50K to get it running right ?

Oh my god Ron.

thats somehting new i have heard for the first time.Man!!

well i have studies about the flow dynamics in pipes in my engineering but never had this thought gone through my mind about getting a tuned intake pipe!! wow.mechanical engineering really is not some stupid degree.Thanks.I learned something today and its not the CAI.

Well thats true but bringing down the car as of now is impossible.too many obligations and then this MBA admission thing and the marriage/engagement coming on as well as the hydroelectric power project that we've just got approved and getting into further details is taking up all the time.maybe in a few months time.

I know i won't be able to pull it off.even if its designed i don't have the tools and neither are there in this city to pull it off i guess.though if you wish you can send me some tips to build a roughly made one.
can't you get hold of that guy who lives in opp. of your house.man ron! you've thrown a big bug at me and now its bitten me hard.haha.
why the hell didn't it ever strike my mind?.lol.

I'm jealous of you mohith.very very much now.

Oh yes about the proper tuner part.i'm tellin you come over here for a holiday and tune this machine.and make me a happy man.:D

LOL Thanks Mohit. You better not. [-X
Though you can paint it or chrome it if you like.

This reminds me or a Rodies Dialogue.
Jaha thumara Sochna dum thoad data hai. Waha pai hum Uata hai.
When your brain works and works and gives up. Thats the point where my brains wake up / start to work.

Not target at you Navp. You know what I mean lol.

I appreciate the fact that your a RDD customer and you keep buying stuff from me.
So I have it in mind to corner that guy opp. my house and request him to chk out the car.
Ive not forgotten. As soon as I get my hands on it I will give you some good news.

Ps: How about getting me a job in one of your projects man. Im feed up with the Indian Tuning Scene.
I can be the Cha Boy. Or driver or IT manager. Think up something. Man I need a job. Need to get outa this stupid scene.
