ohhh shush, you smelly monkey. my mattress went wonky is what happened! the topic here is currently cheese. focus!

ron and torqu3e, i have no issues doing mexican? ummm but if torqu3e isnt in town, then we can wait on it. ill need to know in advance, though, so i can prepare a shopping list and get all the stuff i need, cause ill need to go to a namdharis or spencers gourmet type of place, ya know? or maybe talk to anu about where i can get some of the supplies that ill be needing...

this kalpaka place is selling me 1 kg at about 300 or 350 rs, which is really good, especially if the cheese is of good quality. its not imported, but taste and quality should be the same as the fancy stuff. kalpaka is based in delhi, and they sell to restaurants. they have a small branch on infantry, but rely on shipments from delhi. if only their supply would come in!

i hear that metro sells good cheese for decent prices. if only i was allowed to apply for one...

Metro does sell good cheese but it's hardly cheap. They have a very good collection of imported cheese. I was gonna suggest Metro but gor side tracked to what happened to the mattress :P

And why did the mattress went wonky suddenly in one night? What did you do?

Aaaah, I have fond but mostly fading memories of BTB. It was such a long time ago. Chipotle (out in Chicago in Lincon park ain't so bad) is more of a recent memory. If my memory servers me correctly I agree with you on the BTB (I even forgot what it's called).

reaper, thats so sweet of you!! lucky for me, the kalpaka guy called today, telling me that my cheese is in.. ill go pick it up tomorrow. thank you for the offer, though!!!! if youre interested, ill find out the location in delhi, and let you know.

i went to your website (cheesebazar.com) and was quite impressed!! the product list looks about the same, but his packaging looks very impressive, and professional. the website is also maintained well. if the kalpaka product is not satisfactory, ill definitely look into ordering from choudhery cheese! i went ahead and emailed the guy, to see if he had any outlets or suppliers in bangalore.

raghu and iomega: im actually not a chipotle fan, to tell you the truth. maybe its cause im a veggie, so my options get limited, but i was just never impressed!

Compared to the mexican food I had in small places in south west Chipotle is crap. But being in Chicago and close access to Chipotle I could live with that. That's all.

I don't remember it then. Those were the days of mostly drunken times.

Lincon Park area man. It was on Fullerton (Belmont House). I don't remember the cross road.

Other places I lived in are West and North Haven in CT, Edison, South Brunswick in Jersey, Brooklyn, Minnetonka in Minnesota. I used to live in Dearborn Heights. Pretty near to where you lived.

Yeah, it is freaky. In Ann Arbor I used to go to a bar where they brew their own. They had a dark brew which used to be so thick you could drop in a spoon and it will stay upright. Loved that one. Borders was my other fav hangout in Ann Arbor apart from all the keg parties at the college.
