^ I watched Law&Order way before you knew they existed. Even back when Chris Noth was a main stay. Liked NYPD Blue too. Though I am a big fan of all these shows sadly I don't get them here.

The one which gives the most return force would be the best I believe puji. Though it certainly totally depends on what is the intended use for the mattress.

Ron is an authority on those, expect a nice long post explaining pros and cons of all of em.

Chosing a matress depends on
a. Budget
b. Application.
c. Personal preference as to bounce and speed of bounce. And height of bounce. Typically your looking for a bounce that will be around 6-8"
d. Are you going to be sleeping on it alone or with somebody else.
e. Are you a light sleeper or heavy sleeper.
f. Do you have any back / body ache problems.

If money is no object get the new memory foam. Are good.
I would avoid the coir ones they are dated crap and get infested with mites really fast.

I picked a 12" Spring / Foam setup.
Advantages
a. Good bounce.
b. Comfortable

Disadvantages:
If your partner is a light sleeper everytime you move they are going to get disturbed.

I dot have the time to go into more details. But you can call anu and ask her for the address. Most of the spring guys give you good discounts like 40-50% is quite normal.
Expect to spend arround 18K for a good double mattress.

torqu3e: i have no idea what return force means... buuut thank you?

and why does ron seem to be the knower-of-all in the mattress field???

sooo... my budget was more or less around 10k, because i really only need it to last me another 2 years... 3 maximum. but at the same time, i do want some good quality sleep, ya know? ummm i dont know what this bounce and speed of bounce or height of bounce business means, but ill take your word for it. so... how do i test it? jump on the mattress???

i dont have any back problems or ache problems... at least until 2 weeks ago, that is. then one morning i woke up, and everything was sore and achy - hence, the decision to get a new mattress.

i think its best that i talk to anu about it... if i can come this weekend, ill talk to her then. or maybe ill just give her a call sometime this week, since ive got a day off on friday, and can go mattress hunting then.

next question:
where does puja find good cheese? not processed. natural cheeses... cheddar, mozzarella, jack, etc. i found one place on infantry road (kalpaka cold storage), but hes been lagging behind on the delivery, and im getting kinda anxious. ive been craving mexican food, and cant make it without cheese!

If you are heavy avoid spring mattresses. You should avoid them if your partner is a light sleeper too as with most spring mattresses the energy shifts around the mattress and also after a while they loose stiffness and you start sinking.

By the way you should rotate the mattress once every few months.

Puja finds good cheese in spar on the outer ring road going from madiwala to indra nagar. If you tell me anything specific, I can make a trip for you and get it over to ron's place this weekend.

P.S. Return force is, when you hump how much does the mattress pump. HAHAHA

so raghu tells me that in order to keep a guy from taking you for granted, you have to pick on him a little and throw tantrums once in a while?? (or something to that effect) this is true???! goodness. boys make zero sense ](*,)

mmm kiran, i had gotten some cheddar from there once upon a time.. decent quality. the second time i went back, though, he tried to sell me molded cheese. when i told him about the mold, he just cut that part off, and then re-weighed it. bad bad!!!

um... i do know of another place i can get good quality cheese products - "maison" on lavelle road. i would like to be able to get it at a better price, though, is the bottom line... at the moment, cheddar will be at 220 rs for 200 gms - which is a bit steep, ya know?

if you find me cheese, i will make you some mexican!
