Hello everyone
Hi my name is Mithun and I am from the city of sun, beaches, rivers and coco palms,Mangalore. I am an Electrical Engineer by profession
I used to be a guy who was content with the 2005 pulsar 150dtsi he has and the joys it gave him on long distance touring and commuting, who used to think 2 strokes used to make noise and pollute, that is..
Until i rode a rx135 5 speeder. it belonged to a cousin of mine, it was really different from how a 4 stroke was.. a different character altogether
When the bike entered the power band it was like a dog on a leash.wow. this belied a piddly little bike which could do so much more than it showed
from then on i was hooked to two strokes and searched to acquire my own rx 135 5 speed..my second bike. a few months search and i got one for myself a 5 speeder, lucky i must say..
and co incidentally i came across RDDreams.com at the same time. went through the website and was blown by learning wat a two stroker is really capable of.
I knew this is where i can make myself more knowledgeable,i know its been a month odd since i joined here but more time was spent going through posts on the rx forum.sorry for being a bit of a lurker
Hi to everyone at RD dreams.. Ride safely

RE: Hello everyone
Welcome dude. And isn't it Mirinda and not Miranda? Or does the word have some other significance?

you were blown away by a RX135? wait till you ride a RD then you will start hunting for your 3'rd bike. This process is never ending.
we have some guys from Mangalore who are active on the forum, James is one of them. and he got a RD as well, so go, find him, and try to get RD experience. (and be prepared to be blown away AGAIN)
happy biking..

The advice to ‘be yourself’ is obviously nonsense.
But our brains accept this tripe as wisdom, because it is more comfortable
to believe that we have a strategy for life than to believe we have no idea how to behave.

A big Thank you to everyone..
My journey starts from here.. hehe. now the rx 135 bought by me is in for a complete strip down and rebuild.
may get it within a week or so..will be trying to get it to its factory form step by step, meaning all the parts and accessories
I have a great deal of respect for Ron Chinoy.the info given out from his posts, its a great amount of valuable info.. and the work done by him through his inventions.wow.
its like he has opened the doors to whats the true potential of these bikes is,suddenly they have become collectors pieces, would love to get the RDDreams treatment someday down the line after i get to know my bike properly.
I know i need to do my homework too.. before anything
I would love to meet mangalorean RDDreams members.. is James the guy with a metallic blue RD, I seen a well maintained RD quite sometimes in mangalore. Well honestly thats the only RD i've seen around here
well just waiting for my rx to come back home for now

Welcome Mithun. Yes, James has a blue RD. He is one of the most helpful guys on this forum.. be sure to meet him.
Also, start a new thread on the RX forum about your rebuild... post pictures as you go along. You will get some valuable advice along the way, and we all get to learn from it.
Good luck!
