Ciao.....

Post by bullwinkle108 »

Its been quite a while me being here...only now found this forum...so posting my intro...5'7''...55...kg guy...so badly wanting to do a 150kph...ican't tell you...
Having said that...i m a so called IT professional(bored to death..i tell u...
:( ...the only good part is the chocolates that u get when someone returns from onsite :P )....had a girlfriend(i've no good looks...was sheer bright as a student!!!!)...left me for greener pastures(and someone said boys are smarter!!) ...i m yet to celebrate my silver jubilee..and already having a mid life crisis...yeh kitna rota hai aap bologe...

Now talking abt my RDdream,literally....as a child i had seen my father riding a blue...350(that is how its known at my place...a small town in Bihar...u say rd..and even the guy who has once ridden it would not understand)....a couple of times...i loved the two perfectly round meters..(pun not intended...i was a kid then!!!!!!)...and yeah the sound was awesome....so i persuaded my father to get me 350..(only now)...its a red HT....almost entirely original parts(no bore)...excpt for the fat ugly looking seat...its been six months..but my father won't send it to me( i m at indore presently)...coz the last time he came down here i took him on a ride on my TVS max 100r(second hand..sourced from bihar..all's well except for the shrilling sound....)...and now he thinks i m a rash rider...another reason he gives me...where would u shop for the small parts(acc wire etc..)....
So here i m..still trying to persuade my dad...if u could help me set up a valid argument it would be great....
Sorry for such a long post....Last but not the least(i hate cliche!!!)...Ron should write a novel...on anything....it would be an instant bestseller :) ....

Get in line crazy. I have already mailed his dad regarding the perils of RDs and why he should donate it to me. :-)

Welcome aboard bullwinkle. There is a lot more to the RD than the two round meters(kidding). :-) I am sure you already know that there is a wealth of information in this forum. Make sure you make friends with the search button so that you can learn faster and better. :-)

Hey Bullwinkle, the real reason why your dad is not giving you the bike is...... he fell in love again!!!! may be because of the twin meters.. whatever.. :)

ok, I will give you a tip I once successfully used to get the RD from my dad's custody.. Take your mom on the bike whenever she goes out, work, shopping, whatever.. and ride very sensibly..

The remark she made to my dad in THAT day was, "he rides better than you, doesnt go over potholes etc etc etc".. :)

This post brought back fond memories...

RD seizing up on your piston not so good.

Your chicks sleeve sizing up on your piston as she had a monster Big O = Good feeling.

As long as both are well oiled and tuned right the rewards are gr8.
