Hi Folks,
Got the latest digital RD Dreams CDI along with Chinoy filters and new jets installed on my bike yesterday !!!
The combined effect has had me smiling from ear to ear since last night.... Ron you are the man from a fairy tale on two stroke motorcycles.... like a light house to lonely ships in rough seas with all sorts of conniving thugs hawking parts and services.... words cant capture well enough the help you have been for my bike...
And i finally can smile at what my bike can do.... it has been worth its while waiting for about 5 years to get it to this shape... brought this bike from some much reputed mechanic in town and after many visits to his shop and subsequent visits to other great-mechanics and many begging visits for parts to automobile shops in bangalore and delhi i had almost given up the dream of having a good RD.... very recently i friend referred me to rddreams and man my bike is now a DREAM-RD.
I know i need to put in better barrels and pistons for it to be perfect ..... but with the DREAM-CDI, i can now better appreciate the need for attention to finer details like better shocks, better tyres ... earlier the bike never ran this good at all for me to even start looking at these finer details....
The smooth delivery of power that i read so much about on this forum is something i wish all RD riders experience. I promise you to be smiling from ear to ear once the DREAM-CDI is installed and tuned....
In case you are running any other cdi other than Ron's, the delivery of power to the wheels i can only describe as a series of jerks in rapid succession.... with the new DREAM CDI the power delivery has changed to a smooth curve that i first wondered about when i read in this forum............
Ron - I beg you to be around for the thousands of lost souls who have the DREAM of owning a great RD
Cheers

RE: 2008 New Batch First Kit sold Feedback.
Thanks for the prompt and speedy feedback.
I was in a lot of tension to test the new batch of drums.
Glad it all worked out perfectly.
This means we can start shipping new CDI kits around the world after a long long break.
I think smokers are more sensitive to the improvements in the bike. They can tell right off the bat that the engine is actually healthy and happy.
My biggest sorrow in life is to know that the RD which is such a great little bike. Is running around so badly crippled by static timing.
Nothing like a good map to bring it into the 21st century.
Dream CDI and Lighthouse will continue as long as we have customers.
The day we don't have customers will be time to put off the light and join the rat race for me.
Enjoy your new bike.
All it needs from what I could see of the barrels is a blue print of the shoddy liner. That should sort you out.
No matter how many times we hear it its always sad to see RD owners being taken for a ride.
Good barrels getting swaped for liners and other assorted cons.
Anyway as a RDD member you should have some happy days ahead.
Enjoy.

Congratulations on taking the first step onto the right path to do up an RD, most of us have already gone through this phase, and if you follow the advise of the seniors here believe me, it will be one cool experience of owning that RD.
There is no hope left when you start declutching an RD.

Feedback update
Hey Ron,
Now its more than a year with the rdd cdi and goodies on my 350
It has been functioning perfectly and no complaints whatsoever. Done some unforgetable rides on the bike. Being here in coimbatore I'm reminded of the ride I had on the track where I pushed my bike to the limit and enjoyed every instant with the bike. Other rides like the nandi hill climb where a novice like me too participated and did a fairly decent time. Another long ride from coimby back to blore on the highway was grand. Many other rides like blore to maddur in 50 mins and others have to me would never have happened not for u being there.
So you keep at it guru and ignore all these prick heads who want to run down your creation. Guys who love their bikes and who have tried your magic need to be absolute liars who would not hesitate to lie about their moms too. Once I saw your magic on the rd I needed it for my rx then for my girls rx too. Now I'm getting the distributor of my gypsy too for your brains to work on. When u make a cdi for the carb gypsy then I will once again say proudly that I have rdd blessings on all my babies.
More when I get back to town
Cheers

Why are you posting in the wrong forum ?
On the wrong thread ?
Did you even see the date of this thread ?
And people wonder why we remove posts ?
