I would love to own an LT RD but...

Post by ak916 »

Hi everyone,

I am based out of bangalore, bought up in hyd and moved to this city 3.5years ago. I have had a RX 135 since the year 2000 and then graduated to zen in 2005. I have always loved an RD but when i was in the market for one, i could not get a good machine... and now i am temporarily off the market cos i just recently started a hotel of my own and as expected my wallet is growing thinner by the day due to the initial costs. Roughly put in the same money with which i could buy about 2-3 busas and a couple of R1s... :-(

I hope to hit profits by about early february, and then i will be in the market for an RD again.. if someone is contemplating selling one in a great condition... Can you hang on for 2 months please? lol...

After an RD, my (Indian) bike quest will come to an end. I would love to get my hands on a sierra turbo, and an MM540 at the very least... that has to wait a good 6 months.... Intend to leave the country by 2009 for doing an MBA and then, hopefully, get into the big league... Gallardo anyone? lolz... what was that saying? If all wishes were horses...

Hmm, why dont you post abt your hotel (hope its in B'lore) ?

There are quiet a lot of foodies here.. and if your place has beer as well, you may get your books into green faster :)

Honestly, if you are planning to leave by 2009, why would you want to buy a RD in mid 2008? it will just sit there and rot ..
The advice to ‘be yourself’ is obviously nonsense.

hey thanks torqu3e... I have been contemplating from quite a while to write something.. finally found the courage to do that.. cos i am a member of few forums (non auto stuff), and i usually find one of the first comments from others to be "pokey" if i may call it.. meaning they would pick on little things in the posts and correct me. all i would then say is "I am sorry milord"

A welcome change to that trend. Thanks for the kind words and happy biking!

Hi Rajan,

the hotel is in Bangalore... In ITPL actually. unfortunately booze is not allowed in the place... Authentic mallu food is served there... coming to the RD part... it is just one of "those" bizarre things I always wanted to do. .. Plus I will never ever let it rot after i leave... I have plans for her.. will make my alimony payments on time.. lol

address of the restaurant....

fair enough abt being crazy abt RD, otherwise no one here would have owned RD at one point in their life.. And a mallu as well, Well, what do I say?

consider yourself lucky for not flamed on your first post, not many have been that lucky here.. but that kind of responses is normally reserved for real stupid posts, not for some one who just wants an RD..

sorry today being Sunday we are closed  !!! we closed sat nights as well... that is cos it is in ITPL and that place is deserted on the weekends... The resaurant is called "Cinnamon" in the ITPL food court. You are welcome on the any of the weekdays... but you kinda need someone who works in ITPL to escort you or the security at the gate might stop you :(
