RDD CDI: Pre-feedback

Post by tushar »

A bit premature perhaps, but I thought I'd share anyway. On Friday, my long-dead RD was fired up with a top/bottom rebuilt engine. This was not in my presence, but I am told that the basic wiring was done, CDI installed and kicked. First kick it fired up perfect. Using plugs that are over a year old.

Next steps include heatshrinking all the wiring (my bike stalls at the mere hint of a damp breeze), jetting. I'll start with an 18 degree advance on the safe side. I hope this is ok to begin with. Looking forward to a nice ride.

And its a safe setting.
